Hello,
I apologize for your dismay and concern. However,
1. You are complaining on behalf of a family member. You are not the customer.
2. Unfortunately, additional out of scope work was required to complete this installation in order to make sure the installation is up to code to the ******************* requirements. We presented this issue to the customer on file. We explained that the work is needed, and is not covered by the purchase of services made at Lowes. We explained that the customer is free to decline out of scope work. The customer (who is not the complainant) expressed no issues or concern with the work required, signed a document agreeing to the work, and paid for the additional work with no issue.
