1 starThis company continues to harass me by constantly calling & emailing me after I have asked them numerous times to CEASE & DESIST all contact with me. They seem like SCAMMERS that are trying to HARASS & BULLY me into doing business with them.Review frombarbara s

1 starUnprofessional, unethical, rude. That just about sums up with all my dealings this place for over 6 months. They send their spam using spoofed sending addresses so blocking them is worthless. Contacting them is just as bad. All lip service and blowing smoke to make you think they care and will stop the spamming. Even received 1 time a response from their "real" company where I was assured the email address would be removed - bull. Now the forwarded spam emails are blocked from their "real" company, they have no problem sending numerous spam daily but don't want to be bothered if you prove to them the trash spam continues. Based on the way they do business, I wouldn't recommend anyone to them nor trust them.Review fromLaurel K

1 starI request an Offer for their Simple Sale cash buy option, and specifically stated that I did not want to be contacted by an agent... After entering my information they immediately said no investors were available in my area and sent my contact info out to several realtors. They are not to be trusted with your information. 1 starI clicked a HomeLight link to see get a "free report" on home value - didn't read the fine print. I entered and submitted my info and within minutes received a phone call from HomeLight. *** told me that they were providing my info to three of "Top 1%" realtors in my area and they would be calling me and giving me the info I requested. I explained that I did not want to be contacted by ******** and their answer was pretty much "too late". Then, I started getting text messages, phone calls and emails from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, ******** Way more than three. I contacted HomeLight and asked if they sold my info to more than three. They said it must be a technical issue but "yes" and "sorry for the inconvenience". One click with HomeLight and your inbox will fill up and your phone will ring, ring, ring. If you want it to stop you have to respond to each Realtor individually.Review fromEnrico M

1 starI really hope this helps them lose their A+ rating. I CLICKED I DO NOT WANT TO SELL MY HOME and all I was try to do was apply online for their free appraisal tool and within less than 15 seconds while I am on their website still trying to get the appraisal and getting a voicemail call from a Homelight rep I was getting multiple calls from realtor agents who are being told that Im interested in selling my house. The realtor agents were very condescending when they were made aware that I was not interested in selling my house and that they were calling me without my permission because I did not agree to give my information to any realtors. *********************** with ***************************** admitted she has been getting more reports of this scam like behaviors and encouraged me to report them here . I tried to call back to opt out of selling my information and was told that there was no process when clearly their website has a form that youre supposed to submit but not where youre supposed to submit it to and the best I got was that *** from Home light will be able to help me with that and no confirmation that my information would be removed . 1 starI completed the process to get a free home buying estimate online. I was told to call the number to complete the process after doing that, which was misleading. I called and because my home is currently listed, the agent said they could not give me an estimate, which is fine. I had no argument about that. I asked to be removed from the system and the agent said he did, but my account is still up. I asked for confirmation of the removal and the agent said we do not have way to do that and you are the first person to ask for that. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the agent "Sure" and then hung up on me. I called back and the new agent apologized and confirmed that I was hung up on, but interrupted and was very brief. He stated I would get a confirmation email that my account was removed, but I have not received one. I do not recommend this company. 1 starTypical deceptive clickbait website. Advertises an appraisal estimate in as little as 2 minutes. I entered in my information only to receive spam texts that wont give an estimate without having them match with local real estate agents. Terrible - was looking at the site casually and entered my email/phone to access neighborhood data and now I have local agents from my area (WHO I KNOW) calling me up a storm. Terrible interface and so disrespectful of data and privacy.

On their website they have a section that says "Ready to Get Started?Answer a few quick questions to see how we can help you."Be VERY careful about filling that out, as it does not actually generate any information, it just sends your number out to a whole slew of *********** Agents that just immediately start spamming your phone with calls. I just wanted to get some 'light' information about what states they operate in and they didn't have a readily available FAQ. Not a great interface / first impression / user experience.HomeLight Inc
