      On 4/12/2022 I purchased a product over the internet with Satmodo LLC. The order was processed, the amount debited from my checking account. On 4/13/2022 I received a phone call from ******************* (sales manager) for Satmodo LLC...he explained to me that I could not buy this phone unless I also bought two accessories and a longer term contract for service (from 1 to 2 years), due to the phones high demand from the ******* and Russian War. I told him that I was NOT interested in purchasing a larger phone service agreement or additional accessories....then he threatened to cancel the order. I told him over the phone that he is not authorized by me to change and or delete my existing order and that my order was already debited from my account and that he was trying to "upsell" me. I explained this is classic Bate and Switch and not allowed under US law and that he should not conduct business in this manner. This morning I received an email confirmation from ****/Satmodo showing the order had been cancelled and my account is being credited for the full amount. He then proceeded to tell me (email) that this is due only to "That's fine...It's called limited supply and more orders than phones. That's why I told you it's delayed. I have all the emails to document the conversations.

      First of all, I have never spoken to this customer on the phone. One of our sales representatives handled it after the order was placed online.   Just like all industries there is a massive component issue that is affecting satellite phones and other satellite communication equipment globally. To top that off, the conflicts around the world have added to the shortage.  With that being said, the manufacturers are sending phones to us as they become available and currently we have a backlog of customers waiting for orders to be filled. The customer placed his order for a basic phone kit that we didn't have in stock, we explained that we had a kit available but it was more because it came with more items in it. He immediately declined all other options, we explained that right now we dont have the basic kits available so we would refund and he immediately said " You are not authorized to refund me and you will fill the order or else I will do this and that and the other thing.  The case escalated to management and we sent him the option to wait a few weeks until we had more phones coming in and again he started demanding this and that and started sending screenshots of what he feels "Bait and switch" is.  The end result is that we refunded his money, we dont want to do business with him or want to have him as a customer now or ever. The customer doesn't seem to understand that there is a massive manufacturing constraint facing many industries, he is very demanding and self entitled and for those additional reasons we dont want his business.  His money was refunded and there is no further action that will take place.
