Returned defective shoes (soles detaching); shipped via **** on 12/14/2023, tracking #**********************, delivery confirmed on December 19, 2023, 12:34PM to "Front Desk/Reception/Mail Room."**** maintains they never received this shipment and are not responsible for "lost" shipments, reminding me that I should have used a traceable shipping method. I did, in fact do so, and the **** confirms that it was delivered to the correct address. I followed the return process *to the letter* using the form provided and enclosing a copy of the shipping receipt ($14.90), also to be refunded, but Ryka is not standing by their defective product policy.Business response

After payment, I sent a pair of Ugg boots to the business back in mid-December and was told they would be repaired. After much time was passed and I was promised the boots I still did not receive them or an update on the status. I emailed several times before receiving a response saying that I should have them in a few days. After another week I still did not have the boots or receive communication on their whereabouts. After several more emails I finally received an email saying that my item was mis-shipped and that the person who had the boots would send them back to NuShoe and then they would ship them back to me. Another week passed with no communication after I reached out several more times. Finally, another email was sent to me saying they didn't know what the issue was, but they would get back to me. This is when I tracked down a number for the business. I have left over 6 voicemails for someone to call me back and still have not received any communication. Today (3/1/24) I sent several more emails with no response and received the wrong boots delivered to my doorstep this afternoon. I have once again tried to call and email to find out where my boots are and who's shoes I actually received. The claim someone was supposed to send me a replacement pair, but these boots are no longer sold and discontinued. They also told me over 2 weeks ago they were going to refund me for my inconvenience, but I still have not received that either. I only contacted this company after *** advised me to get them fixed since they were no longer available for me to purchase. I am very frustrated about the horrific customer service and lack of communication. I would like my original boots returned to me and would like my refund issued as promised.Initial Complaint

On August 12, 2022, I sent my Birkenstock sandals to NuShoe for repair. They replaced the cork bed and re-attached the leather straps onto the sandals, sending them back to me on September 8, 2022. They charged $150 for the work, which is the same price as a brand new pair of Birkenstock sandals of the same design. Although the sandals looked fine when they arrived, after wearing them just twice, the glue holding the straps of the sandals to the show bed began to become undone. I am now unable to wear the sandals as I fear they will fall apart if I do so. I have written NuShoe about this three times, via email, and they are completely unresponsive, despite being very responsive when I initially wrote them about the order (put another way: it is clear that they read their emails, and are simply choosing not to reply to me.) I am requesting a full refund as these shoes are unusable. I do not want to send them back to NuShoe for a further repair given the very shoddy work they did the first time.
