Honestly I have used better companies such as ****** May but my school only used Ascent Loan. It's been horrible! My school can never find the money maybe because they say they sent it and don't. I was suppose to recieve my loan may 15th after calling MULTIPLE times and told it was send I called one last time and ask for some information to trace my loan. That's when they called me back and stated something happened and that as of June 10th the money was not sent to school. I'm annoyed because I need my disbursement like yesterday. DONT USE THIS COMPANY! Save you the head aches

I have exhausted myself trying to persuade Ascent to service my loan legally. I had to fight with them repeatedly about my loan being deferred as in school. Once I managed to prove I am in school, they charged off the loan. Their negligence has decimated my credit rating unnecessarily.

I needed a private loan to pay for school after I reached the max ****** I could borrow for my undergraduate degree. They seemed like a good option, but they said I would be paying a certain ****** one semester which was affordable, and then increased it without explanation. There are no options to lower the monthly bill either. Its not based on your income or anything. I contacted support and according this guy, the price will continue to double every semester I need a loan. Absolutely horrible business and not transparent to students.
