    On SUN, July 3rd, I returned to the ***************** after being gone for the weekend. I checked the uber app and it was going to be more expensive so I decided to take a taxi to my apartment in Hillcrest. I typically don't carry cash on me so when I got into the cab, I asked the driver if I could pay with card - he agreed and started to drive. A couple minutes into my ride, he told me I should have taken an uber because it was cheaper. I politely told him that I had checked the app and it was going to be more expensive so I had decided to take a cab instead. A couple minutes later, the driver pulled into a gas station on Laurel ** and I was confused as this was not my final destination. I asked what he was doing and he told me that I needed to go inside to the atm and get him cash. I reminded him that I had asked if I could pay with card before the ride because I didn't have any cash and he had told me yes. After a brief and escalating exchange, the man demanded I go inside to get him cash. I told him I was no longer comfortable with him taking me home and that I would find another ride. I got out of the car and opened the trunk, grabbed my backpack and was trying to get my duffel bag out of the car when the man started closing the trunk on my arm. He told me that I couldn't have the rest of my stuff until I paid him for the ride he had given me. Frustrated, scared, upset, and confused, I kept telling him that he told me I could pay with card and that I wanted my stuff back (my arm is still in the trunk at this point with him applying pressure to try and close it). After he continued to refuse, I asked that he let me arm out of the trunk. He finally complied and I told him that I would be reporting him to his company and that I wanted my stuff out of his car before getting him his money. He took my bag out of the car, set it on the ground, waited for me to get his money, and drove away as I cried scared in the parking lot. Orange Cab # F.N. 148 License = *******
