A gift card was purchased for this Massage Green location in the amount of $200. The location closed. I have reached out three times to ************************* for a refund. His email address is **********************. He has not acknowledged my emails and two weeks have since passed. The new business at the location stated they cannot or will not honor the gift card. They confirmed that ************************* is the person to contact for a refund. They assured me that they would try to connect with him for a resolution, but we still have not been contacted. I wish a refund to go to my original form of payment. **************** was sent an email on December 26, December 29,and January 4 with no response.
Hand & Stone Massage said they wont honor the gift card and I am to obtain a refund from ****************
Perhaps the complaint needs to be amended to include ATM Brands (Franchisor selling the gift cards) as well.Business response

This complaint should be directed to the *** of Massage Green Spa, *************************. His email address is correct in the client's email. I am no longer a Massage Green Franchise and we have been instructed to direct all gift card refunds to ************************* because Massage Green Corporate is the company who received the $200 so they are the ones who need to process the refund. I signed up for their monthly membership, which was extracted from my bank account monthly for $49.95. The last payment I made to them was October 1, 2021. I went to make an appointment and the location is closed, without any warning or notices to their customers. I have at least $400 in unused services, and have tried to contact their main location to understand how this money can be returned to me since I did not use the services. You are allows to "bank" this money for services then spend as you want on future appointments, now I am out the money and have no way to get any service. They owe me my money back or a way to fulfill the services promised with my monthly membership.Business response

Please stop sending complaints from members of the ******* Massage Greens to me! I can not help you.

Have you received an answer from these corporate officers at Massage Green? I want a refund since no service was provided. I would say I have $400 on the books to use, they closed without any warning to the customers that joined their monthly membership.

I do not own this location!!! This location is located in ******* and was owned by ***** and *****************. You can reach them at ************ and their email is ****************** They were the people who collected this person's money and they are the ones who need to refund it. They closed the locations so they are the responsible parties for this complaint.
Please do not send any more complaints regarding the closure of these locations to me. I own 2 locations in *********, ** and I have nothing to do with these 2 locations.
