My rental vehicle was removed from supposedly private property. That supposed private property is not indicated. There is no sign indicating that it is private property nor that you cannot park. It does not indicate information about where to call or where to obtain information to recover the vehicle. I have photos of the property where there is no warning signs. There is only one that indicates trucks are not allowed. The tow truck took the vehicle on a Saturday and they did not allow me to pick it up until Monday because the tow truck company's schedule did not allow it, but they did charge me for the storage of the vehicle. The rates and storage days seem abusive to me. I also had to rent a hotel because I couldn't pick up the vehicle until Monday. The date of removal of the was November 11 and recovery on November 13. The total amount paid was $460.

Company is very much riding around trying to scam people out of there money.I'm a truck driver from out of state I towed a boat from ******* to ********** entire week job. I came to get rest at truck stop and was told it's only a 2 hr parking block? There no towAway signs up anywhere?? There driver then say I can't stay the night here? When it's about 8 other cars that been here before me he didn't complain to. This company need to be reported asap.Because the truck stop is a private parking area and they should not be towing away car or placing signs on cars for no reason

I parked at San Ysidro in a 99 cent store parking lot, not disturbing any other vetches or in designated area. I walked to my aunts house a few blocks up the street and after 3 hours when I came back my car was towed. I tried to call multiple numbers including the towing number in the parking lot and I wasn't able to get in contact with anymore with my car. Multiple said they didn't have my car anywhere. I even called the police and they said it wasn't found anywhere. I kept calling different places and I was finally able to find my car but they were going to close in 25 minutes. They said I had to wait for the next day to get my car so I was forced to pay an additional charge for storage. Originally If I came in that Friday night within the 25 mins I would've paid a total of $355 .They took advantage of the limited time situation. Apparently since it was a Friday night, it was going to be an additional charge for $150. It wasn't fair because I could have made it and I didn't have to wait the next day. Their number wasn't on the parking structure which caused me to lose time in finding my car.

I went into ********* to grab a coffee, I didn't notice I parked in a stall where you had to pay for parking. The sign was not illuminated and I missed it. I was in ********* for 4 minutes. I have call logs with my daughter who I was picking up from the border. When I walked outside my car was already being towed. The tow truck driver demanded I pay him $150 cash now or he's taking my car. He had no empathy. He was rude and unapologetic. He said he did not believe me that I was picking up.my daughter even though they walked to the car with there luggage. This is abuse to people especially elderly people like me.

Southcal towing broke everyone of these laws 1. One-Hour Rule A vehicle must be parked for one full hour before being towed unless it is parked in a manner that interferes with an entrance or exit, is within ***************************** in a fire lane. The curb of a fire lane must be painted red and be clearly labeled No Parking Fire Lane.2. Unconditional Release If a vehicle owner encounters a tower removing his or her vehicle but the truck is not yet on a public road, the owner may demand the immediate and unconditional release of the vehicle. The law does not require the owner to provide a drivers license.3. Reasonable Release Fee. If the tower releases a vehicle that has been illegally parked, the tower is entitled to no more than one-half his normal towing fee. Local law enforcement can tell you what the normal towing fee is for your area. The driver would not release the vehicle when it was parked for 10 min. The tow driver wanted 125 to release the car and then when the driver wanted to get his keys and belongings he was pushed to the ground the driver of the car is a senior citizen and his friend a woman was also pushed. The company too the car anyway and now they are charging 660 to get the car back. They are a predatory tow company.
