I received letter about funds and sent back to them , then decided to contact ***** Unclaimed property about money that was to be sent to me and they said money was being mailed directly to me without going through this company. So not sending 10% when they really didn't do anything but notify me first. *** getting collection letters.

The people giving one star reviews and calling this outfit a scam, don't know what scam means. This is by no means a scam. It's a real company that provides exactly the service they purport to provide hence, NOT A SCAM. Because of these reviews, I realized I could do the footwork myself and did saving the 10% fee Advanced Recovery Consultants charges for their service. If you want to do the work yourself, feel free. If you want to pay this legitimate outfit to coddle you along, they deserve their cut.Advanced Recovery Consultants Response

We appreciate your feedback. We didn't rip anyone off, their claims were filed & paid without any issues; unfortunately no matter what you do there will always be some that are not satisified. In order to assist in the recovery; we're requried to be licensed, insured, bonded & need to complete annual local, state, & federal background checks.Review from Vicki H

This place is a scam to collect funds that you are able to retrieve yourself. You can go onto the unclaimed site and print your own docs and get all of the money due to you. they do absolutely NOTHING except send you a paper, have you get it notarized and send back to them. That is Literally all they do. you have to do the rest Do NOT use them. Go to the Unclaimed site, print your docs, get them notarized, send a copy of your license and all notarized docs to the location listed on the docs that you print from the unclaimed site. These were insurance claims that dated back to 2017 & were reported as abandoned by your insurance company when you did not file a claim with the insurance company. In addition to our original notification, we were able to find another 12 claims from the same insurance company that were still outstanding.You had contacted us by ************* several times prior to us proceeding. We would have never proceeded in the recovery of your claim without your *************************** in which you signed 3 different times, on May 24, 2021, June 2, 2021, & June 8, 2021. All 13 of your insurance claims were paid out on December 30, 2021.Review from Mark K

When I got their letter in the mail I almost threw it away. I called them up & spoke with them for about 10 minutes. I was able to find out that this was from some stock shares that I had from my old job. The ********** address that I lived at many years ago were all correct. I followed their instructions & after a few months, I received my check in the mail. Thank you for your help!Advanced Recovery Consultants Response

This company is a scam. They act like you have to go through them to get funds that are owed to you. You do not. If they send you a letter simply take the name of the person who is owed funds and search the unclaimed funds for that particular state. You can then print out your own document to send in to get the funds. They took advantage of me for $710. I want to make sure they can not take advantage of anyone else.Advanced Recovery Consultants Response

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed in our service, as we were not aware of any issues until 2 weeks after ******* claim had been paid out. We recently mailed out a letter detailing the specifics of the claim that we filed & the 2nd claim for the other account that you filed on behalf of your family member, which led to the confusion. Unfortunately, we were not involved or notified by ***** about the claim that you filed, so there was nothing that we could do.
