We purchased a vending machine package in May 2022 (costing around $6,500) and still have not received the machine. Admittedly, there were delays in communication on our part; however, after multiple emails and phone calls at various times throughout the process, we have received no communication from Let's Vend. Even after scheduling a "demo conversation," we were never contacted. At this point, we have requested updates on the status of our order for several months and have heard nothing.Initial Complaint

I purchased the 2 vending machine package May of 2021. (Roughly $7,500).Till this day, my machines are not placed. One is currently in my basement and Im looking for a location myself. She found me 1 location but it was unable to fit through the doors of the business so it was delivered to my house. Theres no communication. ******* does not update me, respond to me or even offered a refund for the other machine. I have been asking for over a year to deliver my 2nd machine to my house because they are useless. Couldnt find me 2 locations in almost 3 years!!!?. I constantly email her for updates. I just did again this past week with no response of course! Shes extremely unprofessional! I gave up the vending business because of how bad this experience has been. I wont leave this alone until I have my second machine delivered or I have my refund!!!Initial Complaint

I placed on order for a vending machine with a location in June. I was told the machine would be placed in approximately 90 days. I attempted to get an update on my order after 120 days. Despite numerous emails and voicemails nobody from the company has responded to me. I have not heard anything from letsvend in 3 months. I am currently out $6k dollars as they charged my card when the order was placed.Business response

I financed a vending machine and location special with genie services, meaning that i can remotely run the machine and not have to personally service or stock it in Feb of 2023. The contract with newlane financing has been signed and they paid the vendor, ******* with Lets Vend. They sent a welcome thank you email afterwords with a form for me to fill out for the design layout the same week which i promptly filled out and sent back so they could work on making my custom vending machine. Several weeks go by, I check with the financing company after a few emails to ******************************* go unanswered. They cc me on an email to her asking for a status, as I have made 3 payments at this point and not gotten so much as an eta. She replies that i didnt return the design form. I sent the company screenshots of my timely reply and fill out the new form she sent as well just so all bases got covered. Then she returns a PDF stating the timeline for machine orders that I have never seen, which I just accepted maybe i overlooked. I still havent heard from her despite my emails and voicemails, i just get the replies when he ccs me on an email. Well, its July now. No machine. No reply. No revenue to pay the monthly installments to newlane. I stopped making the payments and got a letter that i would be entered into litigation and be sued an etire $9,292.00 for the value of the contract because even though i have no product i still entered into a contract. This is unfair and unreasonable. I dont have the money to pay for a vending machine that I thought i was investing in to pay for the payments and not be given so much as the time of day. I signed up for a consultation as a potential customer today and got ******* to call and asked her about it and she just said oh, let me send an email after a resolution. Also cost is incorrect with newlane i told ******* that i only wanted to purchase the machine not the ginei or location service when i sent back the design form to which she replied.Initial Complaint

LetsVend entered into a contract on 1/8/20 with our company (FreshHealthyVendingPHX) for the placement of vending machines. LetsVend charged us $2,250 and agreed that after 90 days, if the machines were not placed that the fee **** be refunded in full. Shortly after the 90 days was expired, LetsVend contacted ** and advised that due to COVID that they were not able to place the machines but would continue to work on it. We contacted them for several months and we were advised that they were working on placing the machines and would have something for ** to review. Shortly thereafter, the contact stopped and despite numerous e-mails and voicemails requesting a refund they have not contacted is in any way.Business response

We can honor a partial refund as we did extensive work trying to find locations for this client in the area, however all of the locations we found required a new machine. This client only has used machines to provide. We can provide them with all of the research, leads, and call notes from their area as well.
The clients husband, who did not sign any agreement with **, has sent ** a threatening email to myself and multiple random email address in attempt to threaten ** and disparage our company to other people. We will provide the partial refund if ****************** sends a reply email to every person on the chain apologizing for the threatening email and retracting the email.

I should have done more research about this company before giving my money over to them. I signed a lease with Lets Vend and their financing arm *********** for a vending machine and placement back in August of 2022 and have been making on-time payments all for nothing. The customer that was matched with us has gone back to vending with Pepsi since they cant get answers either. They were supposed to receive their custom vending machine in October 2022 and here it is almost April 2023 and nobody has any answers on where the machine is or when it be delivered. So now I have no customer and still no vending machine and I am out of almost $2,000Business response

This customer has rescinded their order through their leasing company and was provided with a refund for what was paid. We currently have a custom designed machine that cannot be used. This customer was to have the machine delivered this month and was aware of the no refund policy on custom machines, however they still received a refund.Customer response
06/07/2023
The customer that I had informed me that they notified Lets Vend they were terminating their agreement and going with Pepsi vending because they could not receive a response from Lets Vend for over 3 months(Neither could I) of when the vending machine would be delivered. Plus I never received a refund from *********** who I paid $285.00 a month from August 2022 to April 2023. I am aware of their refund policy but the problem with that is that I never received a machine and I am also out of a customer. ********************** refund policy does not address what happens if the customer never received a vending machine so I feel their policy does not apply to my situation.Business response

If you really have the machine then why not contact me to get it placed? I will tell you why you have not because you dont have a customer to have it placed. Star Leasing notified you in January that they were terminating the contract with you and me because they did not receive any updates they asked for regarding placement of the machine. Do you remember all those emails from the customer and myself? Please do the right thing and refund my money. If this is not resolved I will be taking you to court. Which you should be familiar with because *********** the financing arm has already told me legal proceedings have started against you.Initial Complaint

Between 02/17/2021 and 03/08/2021, I paid $7,357.94 to Jessica L********* of Let's Vend for a Bronze package vending machine products and services which (per her website) consists of 2 new, state of the art machines, 250 leads for locations, white glove delivery, business consulting and a custom tee. As of this date 01/18/2022 I have received 1 used vending machine placed in location, estimate 10 leads, and no custom tee. There are no footnotes "fine print" on her website stating any part of a package is at additional costs. Initially, Jessica misrepresented her location leads (which was the major reason I accepted her services) by providing a list of major businesses seeking vending services but once she received full payment, it became clear that she had no true connection to any such businesses. Also, she used the tactic of verbally offering great service along with any refund of portion of service not used during the initial phone session. Then an interested client is forced to make a deposit before allowing to see/read the agreement. Once a deposit is made and an agreement is received, it is there that everything opposite of what Jessica has promised is written in the agreement and at that point the client either loses their deposit or accept the agreement. After 11 months of email communication of fraudulent statements ("making progress") and her filing a claim for reimbursements on my behalf to the freight company but keeping the money for herself after she stated that payments will be passed on to me, on 01/10/2022 Jessica decides to cancel the agreement and is forcing me to accept the product of the canceled agreement. I have 30 days to provide her with an address to ship the machine or she will consider machine abandoned whilst she (the professional) had 11 months to find a location which she failed to do and she wants to penalize me. Is it even legal for one to cancel an agreement and force the client to accept said product of canceled agreement?Business response

The packages on the website refer to new machines, ****** purchased used machines. Her package included 2 locations, 2 vending machines, business consulting, and standard delivery. Additionally, ****** did not purchase white glove delivery. All are noted in her invoice and emails regarding the delivery option purchased. We have never charged ****** any additional fees or have any fees in "fine print" like you noted. ****** breached the contract in some of her initial conversations with her location. She was notified of the breach via email. Lets Vend did not breach the agreement because there is no guaranteed time frame of procurement. Lets Vend found a location in your radius and were continuing working on finding the 2nd location until the agreement was canceled. Lets Vend does not have any control over if the freight company has delays or damage, which is again stated in the agreement. Locations that were provided were not for ****** to visit to solicit them, as we had not set appointments for her. This caused locations to fall out because of ******'s unexpected visits. Lets Vend was not legally obligated to find another company to redeliver the machine. Per our agreement, if there was any damage caused by the freight company ****** would file the claim, not Lets Vend. However, to speed up the process Lets Vend paid for another delivery company to try to make all parties happy, which they were not financially obligated to do. Finally, per the agreement and ******'s invoice, all sales are final. Lets Vend is still waiting for ****** to send the address she wants the 2nd machine shipped to. Then Lets Vend can complete their end of the agreement and provide ****** the machine she paid for. All documents and agreements of validity of the above statements have been provided to ******.Customer response

I purchased the package on your website, not what you changed it to after the fact. You can’t advertise 1 package but give your client a different package. There may be no guaranteed time frame of procurement but no client expects to receive service almost a year after making payment in full. You intentionally misrepresented what you offer via the verbal phone session versus what you actually provide after you receive the client's funds. The pressure tactics you use by providing potential clients with a list of the best facilities (to attract a potential client's interest) that is "supposedly" seeking vending services versus you actually having no connection to any facility on your list. You may had been still looking for a 2nd location but how long do you expect your client to continuously hear the lie, “making progress” or “have 7 contracts awaiting signatures” when you said in the initial emails (to earn a client’s business) that I am in a great market with a high demand for vending service. You said nothing in your emails about setting appointments first. If you had no plans for me to contact the locations you provided you would not have stated for me to let you know which ones I contact so your locations team won’t duplicate. I only contacted 1 location off your list. Perhaps any other location that fell out was because Let’s Vend NEVER reaches back out to a potential client’s initial contact. You demanded that you file the claim, you did not give me the opportunity to file the claim. If I had filed the claim myself, I would have received my funds for reimbursements that you filed on my behalf but yet you kept the money. Everything is per the agreement that a client does not see or read until after they place a deposit only to then find out that all sales are final. ****** wants a refund for portion of service not used being Let’s Vend chose to cancel the agreement and now trying to force the client to accept the product of a canceled agreement.Business response

The package that you purchased is attached and were fully aware of what you were purchasing. All discounts and refunds are also listed on that invoice. I did not misrepresent the services provided. All information has been provided to you in email and in the agreement that you signed. Nor myself or anyone on my team has used pressure tactics to sell you. We cannot force locations to take your machines and again do not guarantee what type of location you would receive. We set appointments with locations that want to speak with the owner before signing an agreement. There is work that has to be done on your end, as this is your new business and your machines. Your claim about us keeping the money filed is fraudulent and can be proved that you received a refund already. The sales are final policy is also noted on the ****** website. All statements that you have made contradict what you signed and agreed to in the agreement. Let's Vend will not provide any further refunds and has still not recieved address of where to ship the remaining machine.

I purchased the bronze package based on your website stating 2 new state of the art machines. Mind you, a client has nothing else to go on but to believe your word of mouth and the packages on your website because no contract or invoice for client to read is provided to client until after a deposit is made. Even in the contract under #* it states, “Includes 2 machines” you don’t even specify used machines in the agreement.
Again, information provided to me via email and in the agreement was provided after you received my deposit of $1,839.49. At this point of “after making deposit” I had a choice to either back out of the agreement and lose $1,839.49 or believe what you verbally stated and take a chance on being a vending machine operator of 2 machines in locations.
No, you cannot force locations to take the machines but you should never provide false hope to a client by stating initially that I was in a great market. You should had been honest and said you may have a problem with my area instead of keep stating for 10 months that you are "making progress" or you have potential contracts. When you tell a client that you are making progress, a client believes that you are making progress.
You did not set no appointment with the owner and myself for the location of the 1st machine. You emailed me on 05/16/2021 at 7:25 pm stating, “We have secured your first location for you! The location agreement is attached and we are preparing to ship out your machine to the location”. No where in the contract did it state I had work to do on my end. What work am I suppose to do if I paid you for machines and the locations?
I can provide you email dated 12/13/2021 at 6:10 pm which you stated the refund of $500 I received was for the wrap only. On 12/21/2021, I informed you via email that I received refund of $500 for wrap. In your email dated 07/27/2021 at 4:19 pm you stated, “Additionally, when the insurance claim is submitted we will include the cost of any expired products that you have and pass that credit along to you as well”. On 12/21/2021 via email I inquired about refund of $376.25 for reimbursement of 2 invoices sent to you on 08/04/2021 ($190.50) and 08/09/2021 ($185.75). You responded via email on 01/04/2022 at 7:25 pm stating, “We will not make any more payments to you as we have more than fulfilled our end of the agreement”.
All statements made by me can be proven with various dated emails from you.
