WGR started a repair job after completing dry out at property address **************************, which I own. They abandoned the job after subpar, substandard work that left he property without a continued plumbing issue due to their tub installation, incomplete kitchen and bathroom, dry walls incomplete, a huge pile of debris and materials left out side to get ruined and cause the back patio to be ruined, unusable form months (since 12/22). cleanup (paint peeled due to tape, dings, dirt), miscut items (baseboard, kitchen cabinets, bathroom door). The work has to be redone by other company at the same charge they estimated. Their workers didn't show up and didn't stay full days extending the work for a month making my tenant stay longer costing another $800 for her stay. She will again have to move out for a month to redo/finish the job.Business response

We hereby review and acknowledge the claim of ************************* and respectfully submit our written statements regarding this matter.
We are formally disputing the claim of job abandonment and that we voluntarily left the project to its incomplete state without valid or legal excuses.
We were in a difficult situation to deliver our commitment as per our service agreement/job estimates. We had understood that the combination of ******* the contracting team, lack of communication and specific direction from *************************, as well as a challenging work environment contributed to the delays. A second flood was also a contributing factor in the delays. We recognize the project took longer than anticipated and that not all aspects of the project were completed. However, we had every intention of completing the project. We were in constant communication and/or trying to communicate with ************************* every step of the project to the best of our ability but to no avail. We were in a position to not be able to proceed with the project when the client terminated our contract/service. ************************* requested a full refund and had informed us that she is not willing to hire us anymore and that she would like to hire another contractor to complete the project. Hence, our offer of $4,000.00 was explained and made to her but was declined.On March 22, 2023, we received the claim from our ************ and we once again tried to resolve this matter directly with client. We are currently discussing this matter with *****'s lawyer and we had agreed today, 04/04/2023 a full and final settlement of $6500.00. The client requested a check payment which will be couriered out today.
