Complaint:I am filing a complaint against San Dimas Dental regarding billing errors and unfair business practices.I recently received a bill for a dental procedure that contains charges I believe are incorrect. I have contacted *********************, the prior office manager, to discuss this issue, but my attempts to resolve it directly with San Dimas Dental have been unsuccessful.Details of the Complaint:During the procedure where teeth were extracted, San Dimas Dental changed the agreed-upon charges.I specifically requested verification of the cost before the procedure began.Unfairly, in the middle of the procedure, the staff informed me of changes and did not obtain my consent for the additional charges.I am now being sent to collections for this disputed amount.Request:I request San Dimas Dental to:Correct the billing errors and reflect the originally agreed-upon price for the procedure.Cancel any collections activity for the disputed amount.Report the correction to credit bureaus to ensure my credit report accurately reflects this issue's resolution.Impact:These billing errors have negatively impacted my creditworthiness. This situation is causing undue stress and hindering my quality of life.Desired Outcome:I would like San Dimas Dental to promptly address this issue by correcting the billing errors, removing the disputed amount from collections, and ensuring accurate reporting to credit bureaus.

First visit November 2021 for a "FREE" second opinion on one tooth, they proceeded to tell me about how bad my tooth was and that if I didn't do something right now it will be a huge problem at any moment could be "like a bomb going off in your mouth". These people got me by myself in a small exam room and basically upsold me like a used car dealer. You need a root canal and a cap now and we need to get started today. I said wait, wait...I needed to think about it, I told them that I had just ordered Dental insurance that will not start until the first of the year 2022 less than 2 months away. They told me they will work with me on the cost and proceed to put contracts for future payments in front of me, they then charged me $550 on my CC which will be a credit on my account for future work. My Dentist did spend about 15 minutes and remove parts of a broken filling, which in their view got the whole root canal ball rolling. Okay Holidays are upon us now, and I wasn't in any pain, and I didn't feel like a bomb was about to go off in my mouth, so I put it on the back burner. Around December 10th 2021 my Bank told me that my CC had been used fraudulently (back East somewhere) and that they needed to issue me a new CC...a few days later this Dentist office tried to use that CC to charge another $550 towards future work, the charge did not go through. I immediately called the office and told them NOT to make any more attempts to change on that CC and that I will no longer be coming back into their office. I have perfect credit, this Dentist office almost messed up my credit...crazy. Office Manager April told me over the phone that they will charge me for what that Dentist did (routine filling) and refund me the different. I have been waiting patiently for a refund for the past 3-4 months and nothing from this office. I went into the office and meet with April and she told me that there was no monies due on my account and that there would be NO refunds given.
