I was recommended this business to rehab a very expensive home that I just had purchased. They were referred by a very well known designer here who said they were dependable, respectable, and did very good quality work. They are a marble company that changes countertops, fireplaces, flooring ect. I hired them after a walk through with the owner yuval ************** who said he does many high end homes, takes care in his work and the quality and knew "exactly what to do." From the day they started in my house, they damaged walls, furniture; didn't even cover areas around where they were working. He was sexist and racist to my personal assistant who is a younger female and she felt "discriminated" against. He damaged multiple areas of my home while doing marble rehab of counter tops, bathrooms, and fireplaces -- without any remorse for which we have security footage throwing things on y bed and damaging night stands, as well as hitting walls and damaging pain and wood while moving and working within the home. He continued to change invoices saying charges were discussed with me before and making "change orders" for increases fees for things I never approved. Then he threatened to leave my property and stop all work unless I paid him the increased fees. He also threatened my partner and my assistant on numerous occasions with discriminatory remarks and was threatening in nature with text messages and calls. When something went wrong in my home he was nowhere to be found on the property (ie no supervision of his staff) and he wouldn't answer phone calls to address issues that occurred. I am going to have to get all these damages fixed and cost me more money as well as get an attorney. He is not a business I would ever recommend - they are discriminatory in nature, should be investigated for unsafe practicesl bad customer service, charging fees with threads if not paid. If documentation is needed I will provide.

the business tried calling and texting me and my assistant many times they even threatened ** so I had to get my lawyer involved. I sent them a letter demanding all the damages to be fixed and all the extra charges not approved by me or discussed by me to be removed from invoices. those items were never quoted or discussed during the process. we have since hired numerous trades to fix the damages in the house costing me ****s of dollars. this company is terrible and the owner ***** is not remorseful, rude, and sexist. the new trades we have hired are very nice, and we will be writing amazing reviews for them. they have covered all our surrounding areas and furniture, talk to us daily suggest additional things and have done extra for free to make us happy. this marble company left my house looking terrible, with significant damages and now my walls are unable to be fully fixed. many people had to see the damages to be able to find ONE who could even try and fix it.

      ***Document Attached***
These are a few photos of damages, we have a whole folder documenting the damages they caused, the work looks sloppy and they lied and added large fees of multiple $750 of ****** ****** when they didnt use that product on most of the projects. They owed us money and instead of crediting us, they added fees so they didnt have to give our money back.

Contact Name and Title: *************************** - Owner
      Contact Phone: ************
      Contact Email: *******************************
Let me start by saying that your client is on record on a three way phone call between him ********************* the designer who referred me to the job and I *************************** the owner of BY Marble stating that he doesn't care about the little area damages around the work areas and he just want me to finish the job that he can pay my balance and go back to normal.
Now an explanation for this situation. Your client hired me to install marble slabs in his kitchen, bar, powder, master shower and three fireplaces. He did that after finishing the first stage of remodeling his house which included painting and wall paper. Obviously it's the wrong way of doing a remodel the stone work should have been done first.
your client approved my estimate to install stone but when I told him he will need a framer to frame the fireplaces and the powder for the new design he said I don't want to bring other trades you do it. It means he is authorizing extra work. because **** ask me to take good care of him I decided I will charge him my cost for this extra work so I was waiting to finish and determine my labor and material cost. That and closing the wall and ceiling in the master shower that was ripped by his plumber and removing and reinstalling the kitchen hood is the extra charges that your client claims I charged without cause. All the pictures of the so called damage around the fireplaces and in the powder is because the design of the fireplaces was changed. Before I started the demo I verified with **** and **** the assistant that there is extra wallpaper left to repair damaged areas and that the original painter can come back and do touchups. All this information can be verified with **** who knows all the details and can confirm the facts in this letter. When your client complained about the damages in those areas I offered on the three way phone conversation we had to meet with your client and review his claims, he declined and said just finish the job and get your balance.
Few other facts that I'm sure you are not aware of:
I purchased very expensive slabs for your client since I saw he made a quick decision about the material and he bought four slabs for two fireplaces I installed only one of them. your client contacted me few days later saying that he didn't like the stone and wanted to see if it could be replaced. Usually when you pick up a slab you can't return it or have to pay restocking fee, because of my good relationship with the supplier he got full credit for those slabs and when he chose cheaper slabs he got full credit of about $6000 I didn't have to do it but I did.
Your client ordered marble tile for another bathroom which I paid for and picked up, when he asked me to cancel this part of the job I returned those tiles(again because of my relationship with the store) and gave him full credit for the material demo and installation.
And I think most important your client never complained about the finish product and is very happy about the stone installed in his house.
A very simple solution for this problem is to meet at the house with all parties involved including **** and bring this to an end.
In regards to claims of sexist remarks and racism I'm not even going to dignify that since it's absolutely ridicules your client put his assistant in an impossible situation to do a job that she has no experience in doing and all I did is support her and helped her as much as I could.
      Please let me know.
      Thanks

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
there is really nothing to say, this person is not honest, does very poor work, is sexist and rude, and hasn't taken responsibility for the terrible work they have done and the damages they did to my home. we have since hired numerous trades, all have said the work done was terrible. they have documented with photographs and videos. we have a lawyer involved. the job will be fixed soon but will be costing about 20-25,000 to fix the botched job done by ***** and his team. to resolve this, he would need to pay for the other trades costs to fix the job. I want nothing more. I want the job I was promised without damages at the cost I was promised. he can contact my attorney to settle at that cost. PLEASE FIX THE TERRIBLE WORK YOU HAVE DONE. I will never recommend this company. as the BBB you should be evaluating his online reviews as I found out later are terrible and he has done this to other people too. I want him to pay for the damages.
