Complaint: Unauthorized Annual Charge and Lack of Support from Domestika I signed up for a trial of Domestikas annual plan during a promotional period, intending to cancel before being charged. Unfortunately, due to a hectic period dealing with sick children and financial responsibilities, I forgot to cancel in time.Domestika charged me $199.99, and I contacted their support team right away requesting a refund. Their responses were minimal and unhelpful. I also opened a ****** dispute, which was denied, leaving me without resolution.Domestika has since stopped responding to my messages. Im now out $199.99 for a service I didnt intend to use long-term. Im extremely disappointed in the lack of understanding and customer support from a company that promotes creative learning and ************ seeking a full refund of $199.99 and better accountability from Domestikas customer support team.

Amount: ******USD Date of the transaction: April 15 2025 I took a course with Domestika and they sneaked an annual subscription for a premium service inside the course as a free 30 day trial. I was not aware of it, but once the trial ended they renewed it automatically on april 15 2025, and they are refusing to give me the money back in spite of the fact that it was taken out without my authorization, and I haven't even used that service. It was a transaction done without my authorization that I found out only when I received an email from ****** saying they took the money out of my account. I only used their platform twice, once in 2021 and the second in 2025. It is clear that I won't be remotely interested in having an annual subscription for something I barely use. The transaction was done through ******, they used all the money I had there, but as my Payoneer card is linked to ******, they withdrew the rest of the money from my ******** account, again without my consent. Domestika is clearly acting in bad faith, because they dont ask you clearly to agree to sing for an annual membership free trial, they just link it into the courses, and then after it finishes they charge a huge amount of money without your authorization. Once youre going to ask for the reimbursement of your money they say that as per their terms and conditions they dont give any money back. But again they NEVER ask for permission to sign you in that annual membership.

A month ago, I purchased a discounted course from Domestika for 1. A month later, I was charged ****** USD by Domestika. They had subscribed me to their Plus membership, when I purchased the discounted course. I hadn't received a single, clear reminder about the Plus membership ending, every single email they sent were promotional materials that didn't state anywhere CLEARLY that on day X they will charge me for the subscription. These are extremely malicious and unfair practices, that trap their customers in their subscription plans. I haven't used any of their Plus benefits, I haven't downloaded any other courses. They charged the whole subscription, for the whole year, UPFRONT. I wish to receive a refund for at least 11 months, since I haven't used, nor plan on using, any of their **************

Consumer Complaint: Unauthorized Charge by Domestika To Whom It May Concern,I am filing a formal complaint against Domestika, an online course provider operating at ***************************************** a 75-year-old ******* resident, I was drawn to Domestika by their offer of a trial subscription with a $19.99 monthly fee. However, at the conclusion of the trial period, they charged me a $199.99 annual fee without providing any clear advance notice or requesting my explicit consent. This sudden and unauthorized charge was a complete surprise and a financial burden.Domestikas subscription and renewal process is misleading and lacks transparency. Their practice of converting trial memberships into annual subscriptions without clear communication is deceptive. I believe this behavior constitutes not only unethical business conduct but also financial exploitation of seniors, and I consider it elder financial abuse.I am requesting a full refund of the $199.99 charge and a formal review of Domestikas subscription practices. I hope that your office will take appropriate action to prevent this kind of abuse from affecting other consumers, especially seniors.Sincerely,**** W. ****** ************************************************************************************************************* ************ *********************

Like many others I paid for a $1.99 course in November and they sneakily charged me for an expensive yearly membership. Impossible to speak to a person. I tried calling and emailing for a month to no end. I'm so so disappointed because I actually used this service previously and now am so disgusted that I will never use them again. My phone and wallet had been stolen in ********* at the time it happened so even if I HAD known about the sneaky subscription (which I didnt), I couldnt get any reminders or cancel even if I had wanted to. I have police reports and everything!! Impossible to speak to a person about my situation and they made me deal with a huge loss of money at a time of extreme crisis in my life. They don't care what your circumstances are. They've decided that they'd rather scam people than retain loyal customers. What is even sketchier now is that they are seemingly influencing their ratings on ******** it was down to 54% 2 days ago and now its magically back up to 80% even though I cant find a single positive review. Whether its being accomplished through bots or brute payment Im not sure. They are also deleting the comments of people they are scammed If they arent doing anything wrong, why arent they allowing others to speak up?! There are consequences for sketchy business practises. The whole thing is so unethical. They know exactly what they are doing!!Attaching my police report from ********* and my attempts to contact them with no response. I even tried calling on multiple occasions.

I signed up for one online course from Domestika advertised for $.99, not realizing that it was a free trial. Since these low prices are often “teasers” for a trial subscription, I checked the website to make sure that I was not signing up for a subscription. So, I was shocked on March 20th when I was notified that I had been charged $169.99 for a premium one year subscription with Domestika. I immediately (on March 20) emailed Domestika to ask them to reverse the charges, cancel my account and refund the payment. They replied that they would cancel my account but they have a NO REFUND policy. I subsequently emailed them several more times, but got no reply. I see there are many complaints online and negative ****** reviews about their shady business practices. The phone number listed on their website *** *** **** is out of order.

I have purchased one online course from domestika which came automatically with subscription to domestika plus. I did not want this subscription and it said it will bill montly after the trial period will end. I got no notification of my trial period ending and they charged my bank ****** dollars, which I am not okay with as I do not want their services. I have tried contacting their customer support however they say they have a no-refund policy. This clearly goes against *** as they did not obtain my affirmative consent, nor did they notify me about this charge. Please help me get a refund.

Domestika charged me with $179 when it showed that I wasn't under any subscription. Whenever I logged in, it showed that I had to pay for each individual course...so I I definitely don't know what the "subscription" they charged me was even for. No cancelation button and they don't respond to emails. Horrible experience.

Yesterday, March 5hr 2025, I was shocked to learn that my bank card was charged with 170 USD by Domestika inc. Upon sending them an email, I've received a template answer that if I am requesting a refund is beause probably I've signed to a trial period and now I have a Pro Subscription. I do remember seeing an Instagram add about some courses that are 1-2 dollars each, I definitely was not informed about a month free subscription and that I will be charges 170 USD after. This is a SCAM. Merchant has forcefully charged my card. I did not authorized that, I've requestd a full refund but they are refusing to issue a refund. I have not used the service either.

I am an Italian citizen living in *****. Last month I subscribed to the plus subscription on the Domestika website for just 0.99 euros that allowed me to have a 1-month trial before paying for a year subscription. I used the platform but found it didn't fit my needs, so I canceled the automatic renewal before the expiration **********, after the subscription expired, I logged in on the website in an attempt of deleting my payment method ******** but without success. There seem to be nothing I can do to delete it from the website. During this attempt, I landed on a page that had no information about prices, and which was ambiguous. At the bottom of the page there was a red button saying "renew subscription". I pushed on it, thinking that it would redirect me to a page with all the information (my primary intent was to see if I could delete my payment method from the checkout since they say this is the way to do it, from the ***** which by the way is a suspicious procedure - look at the attachment). Without asking for confirmation, and without giving me extra information, I was directly charged the price of a yearly subscription (****** USD) as soon as I pushed the button.I tried to reach out for a refund but the company seems to be reluctant to pay and states in their terms and conditions it would not give any refund. Not only this seems to me an open violation of the Italian and European consumer protection laws, but this is a violation of their own terms and conditions, as it is stated: "Fees and payments: The price of the DOMESTIKA PLUS will be indicated at the time of purchase" under "13. TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN DOMESTIKA PLUS".I ask Domestika Inc for a refund of the payment as soon as possible, as it adopted unfair and non-transparent commercial practices and even violated its own terms and conditions.I also ask for the permanent deletion of my payment method on their database.
