They have not had a director since 2019 so the school is unprofessional and unorganized. When looking into the school, taking a tour and communicating with multiple staff members the school seems worth the money because of all the "extra" education they said they provide with the best educators than any other beauty school. I quickly learned that was a lie. They said they had all the fancy machines we would get to learn about and use which was not the case considering the fact the school never had enough supplies we needed for our basic programs and even dish soap, paper towels, and clean water which as students we had to provide on top of everything else we would need for the program. Another classmate and I reached out to the owner Cinta the same day but only I got a response stating she would meet with me the following week but never did. I also had another staff member ask her to stay one day until I was finished with my client so I could talk to her but then found out she left while I was with my client. I have tried to resolve the issue with her twice now she is being avoidant but wants to ask me for more money when I have spent over $600 outside of the school tuition to provide my own supplies for this school when they should have supplies at least the basic necessity.Business response

This message is in response to the complaint written by *************************. We regret any dissatisfaction you had with your education program. We appreciate your feedback and take your complaint seriously. Cinta Aveda Institute has now employed a Director and is streamlining the organization. At Cinta Aveda Institute we do offer advanced education in comparison to other beauty schools and believe that our students are better prepared for the industry. As a federally funded school we do not offer discounts on our tuition, however we would like the opportunity to make this right. If you feel that you can benefit from any portion of the course that you would like more education on then please let us know specifically where you feel that your education lacked. We can look into a way to have this portion of the course given to you again.

In May 2022, I attended the Cinta Aveda, Institute, and enrolled in a cosmetology program in order to become a cosmetologist. Cinta *******, the Institute, Director advertised to myself, and to the rest of the student body that the Cinta Aveda Institute had been approved to allow students to leave the Institute at **** hours, obtain their proof of training and be considered to take the state board of cosmetology exam and become a licensed cosmetologist, which was the reason that I enrolled in the school and paid tuition. Upon my leave at **** hours, and after paying the tuition and receiving a proof of training, I applied to take the examination with the state board of cosmetology in ********** and was told that this school was not approved for the **** hour program. Myself, and several other classmates, who left the school at **** hours are dealing with this issue as we have completed our education and paid her tuition.
