I sent a $100 in-person tour&application fee on 6/22/2021 and a $2950 deposit on 6/25/2021 to the business owner, ************************* through PayPal.Before we placed the deposit, ******* did not let us know that the kids will not be in the location we visited half of the time. When we arrived at the new location, we found the settings improper for our young kid. All the kids have to climb up through an outside stair to a very high second floor every day. And there are non-age-appropriate facilities on the second floor that could be dangerous for small kids. So we feel uncomfortable sending our kids in, and ******* promised to refund us the full amount of the deposit.However, after we informed her of our decision, she held the deposit for multiple weeks and we had to ask her several times to only get part of the deposit back. She deducted a $250 processing fee, $250 paperwork fee, and $300 accounting service from the deposit, all of which are obviously not needed since the receiver's PayPal account was her own name. She also deducted $80 for our kid's half-day stay when we were actually taking care of the kid and Little Panda Daycare did not provide any service at all.
