The product was good until it stopped working. The fact it stopped working is not what concerned me - the issue is the company's response. If you have an option - do not deal with Fitbit.Review from Justyna G

I bought my father a Fitbit for Christmas this past year in 2023. Now I just got a charge for a subscription to some premium plan even though 1) the Fitbit is no longer in my possession and 2) my father confirmed he hasnt even taken the Fitbit out of the box to use. I called and apparently the Fitbit came with a free 6 month trial (but they failed to get my consent of a FUTURE charge after that). What a scam company trying to nickel and dime because they know they are a failing business. Wont even get me a refund now even though I never AGREED TO A PROLONGED SUBSCRIPTIONReview from Mam J

My initial fitbit sense 2 have a sensor that fell off from the back. I contacted support for a resolution. After spending a considerable time with them and filling out multiple forms, they sent me a replacement. When the replacement arrived, I could not add it do my fitbit account. The brand new device kept rebooting and freezing. I got back with support and they could not do anything I have not already tried. I asked them to restore my old device to my account, at this point I don't even want to use the new device anymore. They told me that they cannot re-add the new device since they marked it as disposed. At the end of the support chat, they told me they will get back at me via email. 3 days later, they send me an email asking for the serial number of the new device they sent me. I replied asking them how to possibly get a serial number of a device that keeps rebooting and freezes. No reply and it's been almost a week now. I will never buy another fitbitt product again and I will advise anybody I know not to spend a dime with any fitbit product.Review from Tom K

Fitbit Charge 5, purchased 10 months ago. Stopped working, contacted them through their App and they were initially helpful. Tried a few things to reset and try to get it started again with no success. I was instructed to send the receipt to them which I found and emailed to the address they provided. After 24 hours they replied that it was not purchased at an authorized retailer and therefore the warranty does not apply. I purchased it at Amazon. This is a product warranty, doesnt matter if you purchased it at a gas station! The issue is with the product, end of story.Fitbit had no problem selling the devices to unauthorized retailers, made their profit and them offers no warranty. Makes no sense at all.I am done with this company and I will spread this to everyone I know. Also as a sales rep covering 5 states, every person I speak with, present to and meet, every restaurant I eat in with will hear the story of Fitbit not standing behind their products!Review from Cassidy B

I purchased a Fitbit versa 4 after years of owning numerous fitbits. I have always been pleased with the quality and functions. Within a week of owning my Fitbit versa 4, it stops tracking my sleep. **************** helped and fixed it. Two weeks later it stops tracking again and the screen freezes. I spent almost two months going back and forth doing this and restarting it or contacting customer service. Finally they send me a replacement. Well, within not even a week, it starts doing the same exact thing. I contacted customer service and they simply just told me the same reboot steps. This is a complete piece of junk and I am going to be throwing it in a drawer. If I would have known how terrible this watch was, I would have never bought it. From what I hear and have experienced, Fitbit is going downhill. I will never purchase one of their products again.Review from Pam L

Major negative changes with latest update, most notably with the sleep app rendering it useless. Thousands of complaints per the Fitbit Community Mail but no response from ****** or Fitbit - no apology, no acknowledgment of the outcry, no remedy, and certainly no attempt to fix the problem. Apparently, ****** has sabotaged Fitbit in an effort to boost their own product.Review from kay h

I've been a huge fitbit fan for years and brought them six new long time customers. So how do they thank their loyal, customer-referring clients? They require an update where they bury that a service, critically and primarily responsible for earning your loyalty/referrals is no longer to be provided without you now paying them a monthly subscription. That service is sleep tracking. What they called a required upgrade, was a required DOWNGRADE.Not only did they change the data reporting interface to a design that offers 20% less clarity of information like a 1st-grader created the new design, and not conducive to a senior's eyesight, they now make you pay a monthly subscription as the ONLY way to now get the information detail they provided for free for ALL YEARS prior, the sleep tracking detail I need to provide my medical providers every 6 months, AND the very reason I paid more than other trackers to have. As a cardiac patient, sleep tracking is critical to their recommendations. My advice Don't Waste Your Money. The product Was great. Now it's c*** If these greedy people are so out of touch with their clients to justify a higher price with inclusive services only to end the service unless you buy a monthly subscription, they will do it again. They will get you to use their higher cost product then send you repeated messages to update, then require you now pay a monthly fee to get the very services you justified paying a higher than competitors' price. Oh, and service? Good luck. This company's motto is about BAIT and SWITCH. When you see a Customer Review Rating on this page of barely over a 1 out of 5 and YET they have an A+ Rating, typically given at time of purchase, that Alone should show how completely disconnected they are to their loyal customers. Run, don't walk away.Review from Diane M

Fitbit Inspire 2 battery died just outside of the warranty as I have since learnt is a common occurance. **************** was prompt, courteous and a total waste of time. Was offered a discount on another device. When I protested, they threw in a wrist band. Don't waste your money. There are better devices available from companies that stand behind their products.Review from Danilo Q

Zero customer service. Lies after lies of how sorry they are that my order was not filled. Reps stated replacement will be sent for faulty versa 3 were just lies. Never received emails, updates about replacement. Sorry company, reps and products!Review from Denise C

I canceled my premium subscription. Got charged anyway. I contacted fitbit and was told they couldn't find anything on my account or associated with my email. I was told to contact ******* I did so. ****** told me that they needed me to contact fitbit. The best part... it isn't even my fitbit email that is being charged.. it's my husband's ****** account email so everything fitbit for my email is being rejected by ******* A joke of a company and a fraudulent report will be made against both ****** and fitbit with the bank.
