Date of the transaction - The issue actually began in October 2022, but has continued to resurface periodically, and came to a head in September 2023.Amount of money I paid the business - I did not pay any money to this business.What the business committed to provide me - Basic Attention Token (BAT) rewards, a type of cryptocurrency, for viewing ads in the Brave web browser.What the nature of the dispute is - Brave is a web browser that rewards users with BAT for viewing ads. I used Brave as my regular browser and received BAT rewards from August 2021 to October 2022. My account was then flagged for "irregular activity," and my rewards were suspended, despite the fact that I continued to view ads in the browser. I waited several months because the error indicated that the flag would automatically be reviewed and no further action was required by me. I finally inquired about the account flag in March 2023 and the flag was quickly removed. I received BAT rewards in April and May 2023. My account was again flagged in June 2023 and I inquired about it in July 2023. I received BAT rewards in August 2023, but my account was once again flagged at the end of August 2023. I once again inquired about the flag, and was informed that the flag would remain, but that my account would be reviewed the next month. At this point I asked what was causing my account to be flagged to see if I could resolve the issue, as my understanding was that I was using the browser as I should be to earn BAT rewards. I received no reply. I again inquired in March 2024 (I had received no BAT rewards since August 2023) and was informed that the flag would remain on my account indefinitely, but again with no explanation of the reason for the flag, and no means of appeal.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem - Somewhat in the beginning, but ultimately, no.Account/order/tracking number - Support request number ******.Advertising - Thousands over the last three years.
