My ************** friend attended a concert here on *****, May 9th. There are 2 stories and everyone was on the 2nd floor where the concert was. They were standing in the first row and it was so packed that they were pushed into the stage, to the point where people were falling down to the ground, and they were pinned up against the stage. They were helping each other get up during the entire event. The performer stopped 3 times because she saw what was happening. Security did not do a single thing. Women were crying from being hurt. It was so packed that they couldn't get out of the crowd. My daughter's friend made it out towards the end and told security about my daughter and he said he would look for her, but didn't. After the concert, many ladies were outside of the venue crying and showing each other the bruises they got from the venue. My daughter got multiple bruises on her knees from being pushed up against the stage. They were traumatized. I called the venue and I spoke with *****, who identified himself as the events manager. He spoke to me for 45 mins and did not acknowledge anything. He went so far to say that perhaps the girls were crying after the event because they were happy. He also said it wasn't that full and that his security staff didn't see any issues. I gave him the opportunity to review security footage at all angles and interview his staff and he said he would. I gave him one week and i followed up, and never heard from him. Had I been there, I would have called the fire and police depts so there could be a report. But my daughter and her friend are 17 years old and were traumatized. My daughter missed an advanced placement exam the next day because she was sore and traumatized.
