Nova Credit is not showing me and my fianc's full income on the apartment application and saying we don't make enough money. This is causing us to not be able to rent an apartment, Even though the apartment we've stayed at for 2 years with no late rent is $1,900, and the one we are applying for is only $1,600. We want to move out of our current place because the bathtub doesn't drain, and it's far from work, and being stuck another year with it would really **** however we have until the 17th of March to put in our notice but we can't do that without a place to move in to. Why is Nova Credit denying us when I have perfect credit and money in the bank? is this an application scam? Can they refund us our application fee, if we don't get the apartment because of this bad AI?

I was first introduced to Nova Credit as part of my being processed for an apartment by the ********************* in *******, ** today, March 8, 2024. First, I was told to find my bank in their database. My bank, ********** is a **** is a fintech business banking platform with tiered checking accounts whose banking services are managed by *********************** I have had my account with them for years and my monthly Social Security Retirement benefit is directly deposited into my account with them. When I tried to access **** in the database of Nova Credit, it did not come up, but **************** did come up. However, I was required to log into an account with them when my account is with ****, so I had no login that would work with ****************. The alternative was to process a credit report using pay stubs only. I am 6 years after retirement age, so I do not receive pay stubs. I have complete records of everything connected to my Social Security benefit, but Nova Credit says they cannot process that for a credit report. I will soon be 72; apparently it's my age that is a problem, and that is blatant age discrimination. I may end up homeless because of this rejection. Social Security benefits are government-issued and are not theft! Apparently, I have to take legal action, but how can I afford legal representation when my only income is my benefit from Social Security? I'd like to see how such discrimination is legal; it sounds undeniably illegal to me!
