We hired this company to fix a crack at the bottom of the pool, fix a tile on the edging and plaster our pool to the closest color we had. The tile repair isnt bonded and immediately corroding. The jets in the pool arent working when they did before the repairs. The filter isnt working as it should. We were told it only needs to be backwashed and the owner was coming the next day. He never showed. He was supposed to come today (June 1st), again never showed. The truth of the matter is we have not seen ********************* (owner) since he received our money. Upon looking into this further we discovered this isnt his first company. The one previous to this was in a different name with several complaints similar to ours. This is fraudulent business practices and we should be pro-rated at the very least to alleviate the cost of fixing this companies mistakes.

We were contracted to Plaster the swimming pool. We included at our expense putting in a piece of the broken tile and replacing her lightbulb. We were not paid for either of those things and we were not contracted to re-grout above her tile. The customers filter needs to be cleaned which has been explained to them and thats why its not working as well as it was previously. We were never contracted to clean her filter and the customer is upset because we felt it was best to part ways and not to take on their maintenance contract of the swimming pool due to the way they treated myself and my employees. In her complaint, she mentioned I only came one time to collect money. Thats a flat out lie. I was there multiple times. I drain the pool. I personally change the lightbulb out. I personally did the tile repair. I also brushed and vacuumed their pool. I was not made aware of any of these complaints until after I I fired them as my customer. If they would like the tile repair redone, Id be happy to send our tile guy. I dont see any other complaints about the work we were contracted to do. I have included before and after pics of the tile and copies of the contract.

I am rejecting this response because:

The pool was not brushed. I take offense that Im only complaining because we parted ways. That was just the last straw. The plaster is streaked. I have 2 companies providing quotes on the damage this company caused. I also had another previous customer reach out to me regarding my Yelp review. They too encountered the same issues with this company but it was under the name ********. Seems so shady things are happening. The tile and light was the same day. ********************* has not been back since being paid. I have ADT recordings of conversations and of ALL work done on my pool. I feel cheated.

      Sincerely,

Well this is the first im hearing of there being an issue with the plaster. If there is a problem Id be happy to address it again this is the first mention of it.  You have a dyed plaster which is going to mottle and will never be a 100% consistent color. Which was explained in detail before the pool was plastered. I too have records of the conversations. I also have records that your pool was brushed more days then agreed upon in our scope of work. Ive plastered over **** pools since Ive been in business and my crew that plastered your pool has combined over 100 years of experience and uses the best equipment on the market. We stand behind our work and Id be happy to help resolve any issues with our workmanship or possible issues with the materials. I have never said or implied anything different. Only that we are not interested in any future business dealings with the Carvers.

      Complaint: 20132597

I am rejecting this response because:

We complained about the issue to the man ***** sent out on that Thursday to remove the debris from the pool. So he was aware. Our paint isnt just mottled in places, the whole thing is streaked and faded. Id be interested in the proof of brushes he claims were provided. I tried submitting the Timelapse video of the entire pool repair but the file was too large. Ill be sending it in its entirety to the BBB representative that reached out to me.
I am still receiving another quote on what the repairs would cost us.
There are new developments, as it appears there is rust forming where some of the materials of repairs were made near the steps. Completely circular. Appearing to be nails or screws? Again, Im not an expert but have quotes from 2 companies that are. This has been such a nightmare.

      Sincerely,
      *******************

Those spots are not rust they are marks from stuff falling off the trees and will go away with chlorine. Id be happy to come and and take a look at the plaster and see what you are talking about. Its not paint and the color cant fade as it is dyed into the plaster. I have never been asked to come and look at streaking in the plaster or I would have. More then likely the chemicals are not balanced properly and thats why its streaking and can easily be corrected. Please let me know whens a good time to come take a look.

      Complaint: 20132597

I am rejecting this response because:

We did ask ***** to come look at the pool. There is a large crack right where he allegedly complimentary repaired the chipped tile. We texted him a photo and he TOLD us (not asked) hed have someone over the next day (Thursday July 20th). We rearranged plans and made sure to be home. No call and no show. I can submit those texts as well if youd like.
Please tell me how to proceed from here. It was my understanding someone from the bureau would be available to look at our pool and quotes to fix the damage ****** company has created. This isnt professional and is unfair of him to keep stringing us along.

      Sincerely,
