I purchased the TRX XD KEVLAR WEIGHT VEST ($153.95 order #******) on December 14, 2021 from TRX Training / Fitness Anywhere LLC as a Christmas gift for my nephew. The vest was shipped and I received it. I gave the vest to my nephew who let me know it was not the weight he wanted and asked if I would return it we never opened the box in which the vest was shipped. I sent an e-mail to TRX customer service on December 27th asking how to return the vest and subsequently submitted three Return Authorization Request forms on the company website and two requests via the online chat function on the website. I have yet to get a response. I received a customer satisfaction survey by e-mail and explained what I had done to try and get return information with another request for assistance still no feedback from the company.Initial Complaint

In November of 2021, TRX sold packages of dumbbells that did not contain what their advertisement specified. A set was supposed to include a pair of 45, 50 and 55 lbs dumbbells at a sale price of $261.85 + shipping costs. Instead, what was sent to customers were pairs of 40, 45 and 50 lbs dumbbells. The discrepancy was essentially 30 lbs in total, or a pair of 15 lbs dumbbells.When confronted, the company said that the advertisement on their company website contained a typographical error. Their solution was not to make good on the discrepancy, but instead offer a free trial to an online program -something most customers, myself included, have no use for.If I couldn't get the pair of 55 lbs dumbbells, I at least wanted a refund for the additional pair of 15 lbs dumbbells that I had also purchased. After several inquiries, TRX customer service delayed coming to a solution, and the focus of further communications revolved around additional disputes with my orders. I was told to wait until they could get an answer from superiors. That began over a month ago and still no answer has been given.I have recently opened a dispute with my bank to contest this purchase. I felt the solution I proposed was reasonable from any perspective. Now the situation is complicated. And I have found out from discussions with my network of home gym enthusiasts that TRX did this to a lot of people, and not just with dumbbells.To me, the issue is bigger than just a simple compensation. That could have been taken care of immediately, and should have been. The bigger issue is that TRX knew of their "typo" before I addressed the issue with them, and they failed to inform their customers. Clearly, TRX was hoping that everybody would just be okay with it, or not notice that they didn't get what they paid for. TRX should have gotten in front of the issue and made good in an equitable fashion so I wouldn't have to file this report.
