      On June 12th 2024 I set up an account with ********************** through their app. On June 17th I purchased $30 in *******. Then whenever I would try to send the Bitcoin to my other wallet or move it at all I would get a message saying that my ID was still under review and that their support team would contact me within 24 to 72 hours. Then on June 19th I received an email stating that my account had been closed. I was not given any reason to why it was closed. And it is very difficult contact their customer service. And I would like to know why my account was closed, and I would also like to have my money returned to me.

      Set up River Financial account on April 25, 2025. I provided detailed bank account information. Received notice on April 30, 2024 that I was not approved but no reason supplied. Since detailed banking information was supplied then specific reasons should be supplied to me as a consumer. It should be clearly noted that this is an application not a verification. Misleading advertising.

      After I asked to liquidate my money and have it returned to me, in writing, they proceeded to send me correspondence hours later saying they made the decision to "shut" my account and hold on to my money for 60 days. This money is mine, they are simply a custodian and have zero rights to do so. They work as an fdic insured financial institution. They charged me astronomical fees, and I tell them I want to pull my money and then they decide to freeze my funds for 60 days with no explanation! Deceptive and wrong.

      i ordered bitcoin on 11-22-22. River financial took my money bought bitcoin. then about a week later i was told they were canceling my account & blocked me getting into my account with NO EXPLANATION.They sent me an email only sayinfg they canceled my account. sold my bit coin & have not returned my money since 11-22-22.They say the will return my $100 on 2-23-23.Why must i wait for my money? 4 months is horrible to get MY MONEY BACK. Also the value of the bitcoin they bought for me has gone up a .what a terrible experience.

      I made a transaction on 7/1/2022 and was waiting the 6 - 21 business days per their support email to withdraw my funds. On 7/26/2022 with no warning and no prior communication I received an email that they closed my account. I violated no rules and did nothing to justify this as they stated. Because of this I have lost an immense amount of money and wasted my time waiting for my funds. This has hurt me financially. I received the following message from them. "Please note that your original cash deposits totaling $100.00 will be returned to the originating bank account on 11/4/2022." This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I also have a personal account through them with a small amount of funds which I want ASAP. I need my money returned or prefer to have my account reinstated immediately. So, I may send my funds to an exchange. I did nothing wrong and want an apology and my account reinstated ASAP. Everyday that passes I lose money.

      I invested $14250 with River Financial with the intent of purchasing bitcoin. After the purchase, they would not let it be transferred to a bitcoin wallet. Within a short time, approximately August 23, they notified me that my account was closed, but that my funds would not be returned to my until December 30.In the meantime, my bank account was closed due to hacking activity. I notified River of this, they said if this were verified, they would issue a check. On January 19, I verified with the bank that closed the account that they received the funds, but returned them. After numerous requests for them to release the funds, On *arch 21, I was assured by customer support agent Christian * that I would know in two days when I would receive the money. It is now two days later and 8:12 pm, and I have heard nothing. I want my money returned. In my opinion, they owe me approximately 7 months interest on it.

      On 9/14/21 I made a bitcoin purchase for $2000 via ACH transfer from my bank account. River Financial has a policy of **** business days in order for their customer to be able to withdraw the bitcoins. It's now 10/12/21 and I still do not have access to the funds to withdraw them. I contacted River Financial again today to tell them it's now 20 business days past the date of purchase and I still do not have access to pull out my funds. I received an email the same day I made the complaint from River Financial stating they are now closing my account and will not refund until my money until March of 2022. They gave no legitimate reason for closing my account and seizing my hard earned money. This 5 months refund policy seems illegal and it's absolutely unacceptable to have to wait 5 months for a refund. I honestly don't think they will even process a refund. This was a $2000 ACH transfer from my bank account and I believe the company has stolen $2000 from me.
