On Feb 3, 2024, I went to GoHealth Urgent Care in *******, ** and asked for a rapid strep throat swab test because I had known exposure and a sore throat. I asked for an estimate using my insurance and they said they couldn't give me one.I assumed the price would be near their cash rate and the rate at other UCs of $250. They billed my insurance $709 for an in-network visit that lasted ~10 minutes!!I worked with their billing support rep and escalated all the way up to their executive team, but they all swear that me paying an hourly rate of $2,800 for a nurse to perform a swab test is correct.Initial Complaint

Details of the claim: -Date of this transaction was December 2023 -I paid $250 for an urgent care visit that should have been covered by my insurance (however, I was in a limbo period on COBRA so I paid upfront)-My insurance paid $30 bringing the $250 down to $220 and I should've gotten a refund from Dignity Health for the rest but have yet to receive payment after several calls, emails and interactions with Dignity Health Urgent Care Billing promising me the money in "5-8 business days"
