I requested moving services from Golden State Moving Specialists on December 27, 2021 based on a NextDoor (app) recommendation and called ****** at ************ to reserve a move-in day services. He gave me instructions to send a deposit of $130 and I did using the Venmo account he provided. My service was confirmed on the same day, December 27, 2021. On the day of my move, ******* *********************** did not arrive and I asked what was going on via text. He said he was delayed but that he was coming. I waited and he did not show up so I made other moving arrangements with another company. I requested a refund on ******* 8th via text and he did not respond. I sent another request for a refund on February 8th, 2022, a full month later and still no response.
