Air Garage- wow talk about price gouging. I parked in a lot that was apparently once FREE to business patrons. I was there for 10 min. and got slammed with a 68 dollar parking ticket. The lot did have signs that said pay to park but I only saw them on one side of the lot not on the side i parked on and not in front of the spot I parked in. Getting ahold of this company to contest the ticket or in the least to get a reduced fee for a first time offense is nearly impossible. NOT HAPPY!!!!!Review from Wendy D

I parked in a space that had no "pay to park" sign in a parking lot in ********** in Mt. Pleasant, SC to have lunch at a restaurant and take my out of town guests for a short walk along the boardwalk. After about one hour, I receive a text from AirGarage letting me know were charging me $65 for all day parking plus a convenience fee of $15.29. So $80 for less than two hours of parking. I happened to see the Air Garage employee in the lot and I showed him that there was no sign in the spot where I parked and he said he was just a contract employee and could not help me. I call the phone number on one of the signs. It was a recording that sent me to their app. There I issued an appeal complete with photos of the space. I was instantly denied via email with no opportunity to speak with anyone at the company. I will go very far out of my way to never use Air Garage again.Review from Jill M

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I parked on a public street in a handicap spot in my husband's car that has a state-issued handicap sticker on the rear license plate (because he is physically disabled) and were ticketed by airgarage for parking in said handicap space and non-payment. Washington State RCW allows for handicap individuals to park their vehicles with proper handicap indication for free in any handicap spot on a public street, regardless of the other stalls being pay to park or not. We filed a dispute with airgarage and they rejected it. Terrible company. We have already sent a complaint to the city and will take this further if needed. Airgarage is violating state law.Review from clifford j

Their help center states they respond within 1 hour. And i average 1 week. Because I frequently visit a business, I have no choice but to use their AirGarages parking system. Sometimes I need adjustments and it has taken almost a month for me to get it resolved. The customer has to make multiple inquires to follow up. Sometimes it's not resolved and you have to respond, which takes more weeks to get a reply.Review from Andrew T

Doesn't advertise rates. Just has QR codes in parking garages with no internet. No initial instructions advertised. Didn't know I had to begin the rental once I parked. Came back to the car two hours later and had a parking violation for 60$ on a 3$ parking fee, that I couldn't even view until I was halfway out of ********. They don't respond to inquiries, either.Review from Hasan E.

AirGarage recently (2 months) partnered with the Chelsea ********* complex in **********************, ******** **. They introduced NO free parking. It was 2 hours free under the previous parking company. There was no forewarning to patrons. Only a few sporadic signs that say pay for parking, no times stated for when you need to pay, no **** to indicate which parking bays and no arrows on the signs to indicate the overed **** either. There is merely a QR code on one of the 5- 6 signs for the roughly 20 parking bays on the street. This has been extremely confusing and misleading and patrons have been ticketed 50$ a piece. I have met with ******* to express comprehensive signage with full details and AirGarage have reportedly said they will change but 6 weeks later and no action. The most disturbing aspect is the parking inspectors are actually ticketing people within a minute of them walking away from their vehicle. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. Just last week, I approached a couple of patrons walking from their car since the inspector was immediately ready to ticket and they moved their vehicles. The inspector was not happy with me helping the patrons, verbally stating directly to me , "I will now stay until 2am" and when I said I am just trying to help people pay the 3 dollars an hour instead of being ticketed, he said frustratedly "good for you for being a good citizen". Furthermore, this has caused a lot of friction and recently a situation could have escalated between the inspector and a patron. We urgently need the signage to be updated to reflect every bay on the street so that patrons can have an opportunity to pay the 3$ per hour, There are a lot of delivery drivers being caught out and ticketed as well.Thank you in advance for addressing this major concern.Review from Vince P

What a scam! I parked in the Old Market of *****, ** at a local restaurant in the evening and found a ticket on my vehicle. Had no idea I was supposed to pay to park. ************** sign hidden and parking lot signs blocked by other vehicles and it was dark. Contact support is insulting. Will not go back to this area! Leaving one star only because I have to.Review from Jeffrey L

I parked in an air garage on a Sunday where ************ public parking is FREE. The air garage parking lot had only a few parked cars in it. We were going to a restaurant that was close by on Bridge Street. I did not know that I had to pay on a SUNDAY, where the ******************** doesn't ask you to pay. I come back an hour or so later and I get a parking ticket for $54. My sweet wife paid it right away, yet I continued to fume at a company who has the audacity to charge someone that much, with a nearly empty parking lot, on a Sunday in which the city itself does not charge anything for people to park. I will go out of my way to never use an Airgarage again.Review from Martha P

Total rip off. Signage was poorly placed, but person to give out ticket was very quick to give. So you are paying for someone to attend your parking lot all day to write tickets, but you can't continue to pay someone to man a ticket booth.AirGarage Response

This is the absolute worst business I've ever dealt with. This company is Vague, unprofessional, over-priced, and incompetent. A little sign with a QR code that says "park and pay". I'd prefer to pay via machine, so i walk around looking for one, assume I can pay on my way out like most parking garages, come back to my car with a 54 dollar ticket on the windshield. Can't find a parking attendant so I call the number to receive a automated machine telling me I have to email, i emailed and get no response. Absolute worst company to give the responsibility of watching your car in a parking garage. If you see airgarage signs do not park in that lot!AirGarage Response

Hi ****, It sounds like there was some confusion with how our system works so we apologize for that. AirGarage only accepts mobile payments so we do not have machines on our properties. We're sorry that you ended up receiving a ticket due to the confusion - if you have not paid it already please reach out to our support team at ********************************** and we can have it waived for you as a one time courtesy. Thanks!
