I loved it until recently. I always paid on time usually before it was due. Never had any big issues really until recently. Due to the economy and being a single parent I ran into some hardships and had to use my credit card instead of my debit card to pay my bill. I tried multiple ways and it wouldnt go through. I have the money it. My card worked at the gas station and grocery store. I waited and tried again two days later. Still nothing. I emailed with them for 2-3 weeks of not longer and all I kept getting was the same thing, them telling em to do the same thing I told them I was doing . Now Im getting late fees added to my account and I asked if I could please push my due date back until I was able to figure this out and they said they couldnt. The fee is a daily fee too. I keep asking for their help and I get nothing but the same response back. My limit went down about $600 . When I get paid this week they will get a payment as I do plan to pay my bill, I always have . The fact Im paying over $100 in fees when I contacted them for help to begin with a week prior to the bill being due and still receiving no help is what makes me mad. I have no money on my debit. Are until I get paid and I cant transfer money from a credit card to my debit card. It isnt a prepaid card either. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Ive been in customer service and patient care for over 20yrs. This boggles my mind . Id rather be told they dont know what to do instead of being told the same thing over and over again despite my response oof telling them Ive already try it. *** spent a lot of money on this site especially around the holidays and its sad that after a few years Ill be giving my business elsewhere.l because their customer service .Afterpay, Inc. Exceptional customer service! Due to a glitch on the retailers website I purchased from, I accidentally made two Afterpay purchases. They responded to my request within a day and swiftly resolved the issue. Works great until life kicks you while your down. When you file a hardship program app be prepared. They do inform that you will have a reduced spending limit however they do not inform you that you have to start back over. Had over 1000 dollar limit needed help delaying one payment due to loss of income from injury and recovery and went all the way down to 100 dollars. No amount of talking to them does any good because it's all done by a computer and algorithm apparently. So use caution with this app.Afterpay, Inc. Response

So I tried to update my Afterpay account with my new cell phone number and at the time the only way to get in my account was to put in my old cell number which I hadn't had in years , So I contacted the company for help to add new phone number . They emailed me back with many questions which I answered but then send one email after another with more questions which I answered but then another email asking me to upload a photo id or bank statement with payment amounts by this time I was very leery of this company and told them I no longer wanted to deal with them because I don't trust them . They could have ask all the question they needed to id me as the person of the account in one email . Then I get an email from a different person telling me my account will be frozen if I don't send in a photo id or bank statement . I told them to keep there account I want nothing to do with their company and I received another email stating the same . This company could care less about there customers . I would think twice before using them.Afterpay, Inc. Response

I give them one star. I purchased a pair of sneakers through them. When I retuned the sneakers because I got the wrong size, the vender(Nike) sent my refund back to Afterpay. Its now been a month since the refund was sent back to Afterpay. However, I still have not received my refund back on my card in spite multiple attempts through their customer care process in which you cant call them. You can only send messages back and forth. Each time I send the a message regarding my situation, they come asking for something else when all they need to do is put back on my card that was used to make the purchase.Afterpay, Inc. Response

I didn't even officially create my account. Some hacker was able to use my email address to create an account, using my husband's name and a bogus number from ********! Why did I not receive an email verification? How did this person get the code to setup this account in the first place?! WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE TWO-STEP VERIFICATION?? Terrible security and now I can't even report this issue, because no one is returning my messages over ******** and like a bunch of cowards they turned off their phone number. SHUT THIS "BUSINESS" DOWN!!!Afterpay, Inc. Response

I have been trying to close my account for days now. *** contacted via email and chat bot. I was told my issue was resolved and it in fact has not been. The most frustrating part about it all is I know if I could actually speak with a representative Id probably get a better outcome. Do not deal with this company. They find ways to block your ability to pay. For example,.I have tried to work with afterpay website to payoff and never deal with them again. Now I can't access my account to pay.Afterpay, Inc. Response

I give AfterPay two stars. I bought from SheCurve using AfterPay's pay-over-time option because seeing them partnered with afterpay gave me a false sense of security, but SheCurve is a fraudulent company. They scam customers by sending incorrect or no products after weeks of complaints. I informed AfterPay, even explained that multiple people are having the same experience SheCurve but they wrote me an email explaining that they cannot be held accountable for the merchant not issuing the product or promised refunds, they pay them up front and we have to pay them back. AfterPay should be accountable for partnering with such a company. ********'s terrible track record is evident on ***************** and the Better Business Bureau. This partnership makes AfterPay seem complicit in the scam.Afterpay, Inc. Response
