Malcolm Plumbing was hired to help install two toilets and a bathroom vanity on May 17, 2022. The rate was $250 / hour. Unbeknownst to me, a team of two showed up to complete the project, bringing the rate to $500 / hr.The toilets both had packaging errors and missing parts which was not the fault of Malcolm Plumbing as they had been purchased from another distributor. That said, prior to removing both of the existing toilets in the house, Malcolm plumbing did not open the boxes for the new toilets. This resulted in a house of no toilets installed, two plumbers sitting around, and me driving around town trying to resolve the missing parts problem. They also discarded a bidet attachment which was not theirs to discard. After finally resolving the missing parts issue, the new toilets and vanity were installed about 8 hours later. After leaving, we quickly realized that one toilet wasnt working properly and was leaking water. They would not respond to my calls and I finally got a new plumber to come and fix the leaky toilet he found a rubber glove inside the tank, left over from the installation, and preventing the seal from sealing thus causing a leak. I wrote all my concerns to Malcolm, called numerous times, and asked to talk to them to address my concerns before I was willing to pay.They refuse to respond to me either by phone or email and now have sent collections my way.I do not feel I am being charged appropriately or fairly and find this service to be absolutely horrible!
