      This company doesn't practice good business. We were just trying to transfer service; not buy anything or start anything new. They wouldn't let me submit protected information safely. They don't answer calls or return them. They claimed to have sent me a link to my email 3 different times. And then They claimed I had a low credit score so they wouldn't have to pay for my credit check and had me submit my own credit report which is well over 750. They have unsafe business practices that's puts all of their customers private secure information out there for anyone to access. I would t be surprised if they have frequent data breeches. I would not do business with these people if I didn't have to.

      I contacted them on June 18, ********************************************************************************************************************* around. My house got burned in May and needs to be reconstructed and they are dragging their feet. I have signed all documents required but to no avail. They promised to expedite my case but have not. I am frustrated and don't know when they will start. Moreover, the are still billing me after they confirmed that the equipment is damaged and the meter has a default.

      Beware of Sunrun if you are leasing their panels. They will put a lien on your mortgage for the panels. They also inspected my roof before installation and said it was fine. When I asked the sales representative before I installed them about what would happen if I had to remove them and he told me they will take them off and put them back on never mentioning a cost associated with it. Four years later i need a new roof and when I contacted Sunrun they quote me $10,000 to remove and reinstall their solar panels. I don't even own them. They sent me a screen shot of the fine print in their contract stating this cost in their service. They are sneaky liars. if they come to your door shut it on their face.

      Scam! Stay away. They promised my bills would be cut lower than half. Its the summer of 2024 and I been paying an steady $50 more than I was paying in the summer of 2023 Stay away from this company. Stay away from solar panels dont make the mistake I made. Its also impossible to get in touch with them. They only email and when you reply to their emails they never reply back. Total scam ????

      Horrific customer service. They came to my house with the sales pitch for solar panels. I was definitely leaning towards moving forward, since they were claiming there was a ZERO out of pocket cost. They claim that PSEG absorbs the cost and responsibility of the solar panels, the maintenance, the replacement of any damaged materials, and that you bill will lower by at least 40%. When I told the rep I looked up the company and saw that there are all subscriptions for backup services and monitoring, he blew it off saying there was NO COST for anything, that PSEG pays for everything since there is a promotion through **************, which will also include a tax rebate. He reiterated there would NEVER be any cost to me. It would only be a complete benefit to us as our electric bill would reduce by a minimum of 40% and we would receive a tax credit on top of that annually. He then wanted me to set up an appointment to discuss the process further, and when I said I would not be available until the 2 or 3rd week in September, he gave me a hard time, becoming very heated and rude. He stated there was a promo that the first 6 months would be fully covered if I signed by August 31 (HOW IS THERE. A PROMO FOR COVERAGE FOR 6 MTHS IF THIS IS NOT COSTING ME ANYTHING OUT OF POCKET!!!!!!!) I told him there is nothing that I can do as I was going to be traveling and that would be the first date I would have available, so he got irate and stated I was "wasting his f****** time" and stormed off! DEFINITELY MAKES ME THINK HE WAS LYING ABOUT THERE NEVER BEING ANY TYPE OF COST FOR THE HOMEOWNERS. When I contacted the company to speak to a manager to file a complaint on the sales representative (*************************), I was placed on hold for 20mins with no one ever answering the call. I called back and same thing happened. Finally I called back and told them since no one wanted to speak to me there I would be filing a complaint against the company. DONT TRUST THEM!!!

      August 1, 2024 I am writing this because I am really frustrated with my services with Sunrun. As of August 22, 2023 my solar panels have not been working in which I was never made aware of. I have called several times to have the issue resolved/fixed and nothing has been done. Since January 2024 up until now August 2024 we have had 6 appointments and 6 different technicians come out and nothing was ever fixed. Every time the technician would come, they would have wrong part, part was never ordered, or our system is old so they don't carry that part anymore. Since last year August 2023 my true up bill was $4243.83 dollars. This year August 2024 my true bill is at $5916.20. If my solar had been working my true up bills wouldn't be so expensive. Since these issues are with your company and not our fault I would like to either have my contract cancelled and have solar panels/equipment removed at your cost. Sunrun has done nothing to fix this issue, I get the run around between Sunrun and PG&E company. It is a back-and-forth ordeal between companies. I never got any calls from Sunrun or PG&E about my solar not working. The case worker assigned has been knowing about this problem and we get nowhere to resolving this issue. We have left messages and never get called back, they are never in office, they set up appointments that get cancelled, or technician comes but doesn't fix anything. They refuse to give us call logs, appointment dates that were set up and cancelled, technicians notes on whether if it is was fixed, rescheduled, no part, wrong part, etc. Last appointment made was July 18, 2024 and cancelled due to a communication error on their part that they did not have the right part to fix the problem. This way I can take my business elsewhere. The lack of communication with Sunrun, case manager is ridiculous. I am paying a monthly payment for a system that is not working. We shouldn't have to pay for a service if the solar is not working.

      I was promised lower monthly bills, I was told I could add solar panels on later, if we needed them. None of this has been true. My bills are higher than ever, with the lease payment included. I am now told that there isnt any room on my roof for more panels and the system that was installed isnt able to handle more panels. Lots of broken promises and now stuck in a 20 year lease. I wouldnt recommend solar to ANYONE! Dont do it!!! Also side note, with all the new solar/electric laws in ******* the only ones saving or making any money are the solar leasing companies and electric companies! Dont get scammed like I did.

      One of the most horrible companies I have ever dealt with. They dont respond to messages. Charge absorbent fees and they do not stand behind their product at all. On March 19, they removed the solar panels on our roof. The roofers came 2 days after and completed the roof in 4 hours! Great company: Paramount Home Solutions in **. The panels did not get reinstalled until July 1, racking up a huge electric bill in the mean time. Now that they are installed they are not working. They refuse to do anything about it.

      Sunrun uses aggressive marketing and convinced me after multiple calls that if I installed solar I would be not have to pay my local grid operator- maybe a small amount in peak times but we would generally have credits. This is a second home in the California desert but It has been the opposite experience in that I am still paying SDG&e and now also paying sunrun which equates to approximately the same amounts I paid last year to sdg&e therefore I have had zero savings and in fact am paying more. Installing solar has been frustrating and expensive and my situation has not been resolved. Sunruns aggressive sales people promised one thing and I received another. I am extremely unhappy with this company.

      Sunrun has bought my contract out from Vivint. They have refused to help in any aspect. Linking roof broken tile on roof. Which I payed to have fixed. When they are supported to take care of the roof. Now they promise 0$ down battery for solar, but say I am disqualified because I added more solar panels with a different company because Sunrun could not deliver on their promise of delivering the amount of power I needed. Which I believe is just a hateful act on Sunruns part. Which I feel discriminated against.
