      I reached out to **** through his website to have a custom habit made in the style of the one worn by *************************** in The Nun's Story. I am living in *************** but had planned a trip back to the **. So in Nov 2022 I sent him a check for $400, which took so long to arrive that I was already in the US long before it was. He cashed the check mid-Dec, and at that point I needed it rushed so that I could bring it back with me at the end of Jan. So I got a money order for $60 to rush it. By the end of Jan he still wasn't done and said it should only take about 2 more weeks. Not ideal, but fine. My cousin would mail it to me. Every two weeks I checked in and every time, it was "two more weeks." He sent the ** back to me (to my cousin's address) but we couldn't get it refunded without me being there. So he said if we sent it back he would cash it and send the cash. So we mailed it back to him. Cut to **** when he finally said he was sending things, in two packages. My cousin received the habit, but no veil etc. And no money. We waited and I kept checking in, and finally expressed exasperation when he claimed that they had rush orders they prioritized. "Why are you ******* everybody else's orders and not mine?!" "Yours wasn't a rush order." "Yes it was! You just refunded me the $60 because you were late!" I kept sending emails and calling until I just got depressed with it all. A lawyer friend wrote a letter to him, and I'm looking into what to do next, because half a nun's habit is useless to me. I tried calling again last week but the number couldn't accept calls. My emails don't seem to make it through either. I either want the rest of what I paid for and a partial refund for the trouble and delay, or a full refund.

      I placed 2 orders with this "business", the first was 4-13-21, for $83.00 for a black scapular, the 2nd was on 4-16-21, for $90.00 for 2 veils, a ************** the 2 checks were cashed on 4-23-21, I started contacting Mr. ********** about the status of these orders in July, was told they had a machine breakdown, contacted him again in Aug, he said he hoped to send them out by Labor Day, called him AGAIN Sept 16, received an email stating he had been at a remote Monastery, but would be finishing items "soon", as he'd just returned, called him AGAIN Oct. 6, received email saying he'd been ill, but would get items out soon, tried calling several times, but phone went to voice mail or not available, called AGAIN Oct 18, excuse was they were moving equipment & fabric, but, would be finishing up my items soon, still noting.
