On May 3rd 2024 my credit card was charged for a renewal for $119.88 for a service called Wordtune. Upon seeing this charge, I attempted to reach to Wordtune to determine the account that was used to set up service. After several failed attempts to reach Wordtune leveraging their chatbot I called *********** to formally dispute the charge. Between May 3-June 14th I had been unsuccessful in my attempts to reach Wordtune to formally dispute this charge. On June 14th I was finally able to get to someone at wordtune using the email ********************************** (the only email I was able to find on their website). At this point, I was connected with an individual ****** who I was told would help me resolve this matter. After several rounds of back-and-forth, ****** finally shared that my card had been charged from an account my son had set up several years back in high school, ********************************* Because this is a school district email address and my son has since graduated, we no longer have access to this email address, making it impossible for me to reset my password and log into the account to cancel service. Had I known the login username and password I would have cancelled this service before the renewal occurred. Unfortunately, it took me a month and a half to put all of the pieces together regarding this matter. ****** continues to be rigid and is unwilling to resolve this matter. I have requested that *********** block Wordtune from being able to bill me in the future. Unfortunately, Wordtune does not want to hear my side of the story and is unwilling to provide a refund for the charge that occurred on May 3rd. ****** has also been unwilling to escalate my matter to her supervisor or her head of customer experience. I find *********************** customer service to be horrendous. not only is it virtually impossible to reach a live person, but it seems wordtunes is more concerned with protecting revenue than providing a solid customer experience.

I have previously subscribed to Wordtune for English grammar correction. I made a one-time payment of $120 for a year's subscription. Although I don't remember clearly, it seems that an annual subscription was automatically applied.Afterward, Chat GPT was released, and I haven't used Wordtune since then. A year has passed.I noticed on February 6th that a new charge of $120 from Wordtune, dated February 2nd, was billed to my credit card. I wanted to request a refund from Wordtune and attempted to communicate with them, but they did not provide any means of contact, neither a phone number nor live chat support. Therefore, I attempted to resolve this issue through my credit card company, but Wordtune denied to refund $120.Such conduct from Wordtune is highly unfair. Even if I inadvertently failed to cancel the annual subscription, it is unjust not to refund me for the unused portion of the subscription. Many companies refund unused portions of annual fees proportionally, such as Amazon and Apple. If Wordtune is a reputable company, they should either charge me only for the period from February 2nd to the 6th (4 days) or refund the remaining amount excluding the subscription fee for one month.I hope that Wordtune's unfair contractual practices are addressed and rectified.

I want to cancel my subscription with Wordtune, but there is no way to actually get to the account to cancel. I want to prevent from being charged again. There is no number to contact the company, they have not contacted me back and the chat bot does not provide any useful information.

I have reached out to this company on separate occasions asking for my account to be closed and to receive a refund. On both occasions I have not received a response nor have a gotten a refund from them. This business don't even have a contact number that you can call about such problems. I just want my money back for the two times that I have reached out about wanting my account closed. My account has been charged twice for the amount of ***** so I will like to get both charges back on my account. That is a total amount of *****.

I hereby submit this complaint to dispute Wordtune's breach of contract. On 19th July 2022, I subscribed to Wordtune's annual premium plan by paying them $119.88. On 4th Feb 2023 Wordtune charged me again $119.88 as annual premium membership fee. After many back and forth emails, Wordtune refunded the payment of $119.88 made on 4th Feb 2023. However, they have cancelled my premium service since 4th Feb 2023 despite the fact that I have already paid them the charges for one year on 19th July 2022, which is valid until 18th July 2023. I have reached out to Wordtune multiple times to resolve this issue, but they have failed to do so.Therefore, Word tune has breached the contract by cancelling my premium service despite the fact that I had already paid the annual fee for the period of 19th July 2022 to 18th July 2023. I demand that Word tune fulfill the contract as agreed and reinstate my premium service.

Subscribed to service for Premium account at $9.99 per month. The company charged my credit card $24.99. There is no customer service telephone number available at the website or via a ****** search. The company does not provide electronic receipts or confirmations. Tried to get help through Chat, but only get a Bot response. I would like a refund of the overcharge.

Wordtune is a rewrite service that can be added as an extension to ****** Chrome. It is free with limited service, however, I purchased the premium package and the service promised does not work and no one is responding to my complaint. I feel that Wordtune has taken my payment and has no intention of providing me with the service I paid for. There is no number to call and no real person to speak with.
