Management are not sympathetic to therapists and will shame! You for doing your job. I was pretty much told by a manager you can leave because we have 800 more therapists. I've never complained before about anything. All because I'm doing my job I'm humiliated my this unprofessional clinical manager who acts like she's slow to understandBrightside Health, Inc. Response

Company is a scam!They provide patient with services then inform you they dont take your insurance.Dont pay them, its their fault for not get prior approval before initiating medical services to any potential patient.Brightside Health, Inc. Response

Thank you for sharing this feedback. When signing up with Brightside Health, we provide a good-faith estimate about any potential cost-share responsibilities that we are able to determine initially. However, we always recommend a member contacts their health insurance directly to verify coverage. Brightside Healths services are considered covered by the insurance plans with which we are an in-network provider. As a result, the invoiced amount is determined by a members health plan, not by Brightside. We submit claims on a members behalf to their insurance provider, and they are charged for their portion of the cost share using the payment method on file once those claims have been processed by the insurance provider. This can be several weeks after a claim is submitted to an insurance plan. Based on a members specific insurance coverage, there may be a copay, a deductible, or coinsurance applied. This company steals from partient's and steals from insurance companies. Multiple times throughout my business with Brightside Health I was receiving false charges some being small amounts (because insurance covered most) and others being the full amount because insurance did not cover the "extra visits" that I did not take. Multiple times I reached out to brightside health for explanation with no answer or no resolve. Multiple times I was charged twice and had receipts via my insurance for proof of double charges and when I reached out they said "we do not see the additional claims on our end, I suggest your insurance company call us" even though I provided email receipt of these extra claims. I reached out to my insurance but never heard back from them (obviously its an insurance company)I went to Brightside to receive mental health help but in reality it just made me more stressed and more broke. I was paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars more a month than I should have been. I ended up canceling my subscription in Feb 2024. JUST YESTERDAY i received 3 more charges totaling over $100 to my credit card from BrightSide Health... I reached out and they sent receipts via email for "outstanding charges" I reveiwed those charges to the dates the email provided and double crossed them with my insurance company and found out all 3 charges had already been paid in full through insurance. That was my last straw. This company is attempting to scam me over 2 months after I cancelled my services. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. they pretend to care for mental health then they steal from you and make you wanna kill yourself more.Brightside Health, Inc. Response

MY experiences will give Bright side a 5 out of 5 Stars ! My therapist has helped me with medication management. We have a weekly *********** have been doing VERY< VERY WELL ! My Mental Health/Behavioral (Bx) Health Practitioner communicates with me 2-3 times a week. Currently, I am threatened with being homeless. I am so glad that my practitioner is following me. I have no Side Effects (S/E) to my medication. I have thanked her for her assistance. Because of this I am able to function so much better in my career, **************** interactions. I am very happy with the care and attention I have received. I have told my Provider this several times. I am so Very greatful for their help.Brightside Health, Inc. Response

I wouldnt give them any stars considering I think that theyre a scam just to get your money, not only did they charge me more than I was told they took it without asking and after I told them to delete my account cause they didnt even talk to me for 30 mins. Do not ever use this service for mental health treatment. I am appalled by how terrible of an experience I had. My psychiatric provider made comments during our appointment about how I would look better if I gained more weight (after I told him that weight and self image issues are part of why I am seeking treatment) and made other triggering comments assuming that the reason I have anxiety is due to my parents fighting a lot (he randomly assumes this on our first session that he was late to.)I was told I would receive a link in two weeks following the appointment to receive my prescription renewal. I never received a link and could not get in touch with my provider for a week and a half, I NEVER heard from him again. I had to take off of work to call Brightside over and over to try and get ahold of someone and try to get my prescription renewed so that I would not start experiencing side effects from being unable to access the prescription. And I am now being billed way over their estimate for this unethical service.There are so many amazing telehealth platforms out there, do NOT use Brightside health it is the worst experience at every step of the way and it has terrible "medical professionals" on its team. The way I was spoken to during my appointment was how a high schooler pretending to be a doctor would sound. Never again.Brightside Health, Inc. Response

Beware, beware. They are not looking out for your best interest. I was not please with their level of care or service. If you want to pay a friend to listen that is generally what you are getting here. No real professional help..just a bunch of people trying to make a dollar!Brightside Health, Inc. Response

AWFUL place. Their website was down and I couldn't log in. I sent them screenshots and everything. They refused to refund me a "no-show" fee despite the proof that I submitted. UGH, I wish I would've read these reviews before signing up. They have the worst customer service, and have establised a culture where their patients are just people who they can take money from and are assuming the worst in you. I'm being treated like im being dishonest and a liar - not right. They had their "IT" department look up the ** address used to login and the information they found was SOOOO irrelevant as I had to then borrow my roommates computer to see if the website was just down for smartphones or for computers as well. Also, my appointment was at 7pm. They close at 6pm. Who was supposed to be help me troubleshoot the issue if they were not available to support??? They should not have appointments occuring when their customer service offices are closed. There is no logic to that. Great way to support mental health brightside.Brightside Health, Inc. Response
