We hired omni Ellis on 11/12/2019 to help us get out of our timeshare with STORMY POINT CONTRACT#****** (the Developer) Omni Ellis started out with good communication and information, as time passed the communication and responses were less than satisfactory. I would send *********************** and De'***********************. We were told that since they were going out of business that there would be a refund issued around late summer. This has not been received and there is no contact. Since they defaulted on their contract, I would just like to get my refund. Thank youInitial Complaint

Took our money told us we would be pushed through fora speedy timeshare cancelation. Never heard back or update. Tried multiple times to reach out. Finally after 2 years they contacted us and told us we were to be refunded. Now over a year later still no resolutionInitial Complaint

I have been unable to reach this firm via phone or email and want to know if they are still in business. Omni Ellis was paid in advance by me and my sister to exit or cancel a timeshare we had purchased. They have not been successful in this process thus far and we need to know if they continue to work on our request or if no longer in business we need to decide what action to take to achieve the cancellation of the timeshare. An email from you as to the viability of Omni Ellis LLC will help us with next steps.Initial Complaint

** August, 2019 we met with representatives from OmniEllis, LLC to liquidate our timeshare at ***********. We gave them $4000.00 & signed a contract stating that if they didn't liquidate in 18 months, we would receive a full refund. On December 4, 2019, my husband and I issued a check to Omni Ellis for $12,245.00 with the understanding that they would help us to cancel our contract with *********************** Lake, a time-share company. We were told that our money would be refunded within a year if they were unsuccessful in the cancellation of our contract. Initially we were assigned a case manager who kept in contact with me, but within a short time, the contacts became less and less, to none. Although I wrote many emails questioning the status of our cancellation process, I was never able to receive a definitive answer regarding our account. I contacted the Attorney General in both ******** and **********, but was told that mail sent to the address given was returned, as was certified mail that I had sent to the same address. On September 27, 2022, an apology letter was received from Omni Ellis, essentially saying that they were out of business.Initial Complaint

******* at Omni Ellis called me on 2/7/2023 to tell me they have gone out of business and will be expediting my refund of $5,995. I have left 5 more messages to the same number I have talked to her before, and she does not return my calls. Their contract states that a full refund will be issued within 30 days. I do not know where we all go from here and how to get a refund. Any information would be greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

I paid Omni Ellis LLC **** dollars in Dec 2019 to relieve me of any future maintenance dues w ****** Resorts. Due to COVID in Feb 2020 they tried extending their 18 month commitment. I did everything they said including sending 2 notarized - certified letters w return receipt to Diamond Resorts. I tried suing Omni Ellis because they did not fulfill their contract but they went bankrupt and tried to set me up with another law firm and pay more money. I have done everything required to release me of these maintenance fees I have paid for 20 yrs. I have not used the facilities for 3 yrs and paid the actual timeshare off so feel I feel I am not obligated to any more fees including interest and late fees. I ask that I be released if this timeshare that has been paid for for over 12 years!Initial Complaint

Omni Ellis specializes in timeshare deed returns. We hired them for their fee of $6,000 (I've lost that receipt). They explained a 4 step process that would take ***** months. We sent letters 1-3 (attached). They were to write step 4 and file with the county clerk, ******* County, **. This did not happen. This last step is what I'm requesting or a refund.
