This business, and more specifically Sam S****, has broken the contract I signed several times. I signed a contract and agreed to pay a $150 deposit and $585 to the carrier once my car was delivered. The day of the promised date, I got a message stating the driver had an emergency and that his wife was injured so he had to find a new driver for the next day. He rescheduled this pickup date several times and told me if he needed to reschedule again, I would receive a full refund. He had guaranteed multiple times that my car would be picked up, finally i asked for the refund that he promised. I never got a refund and he threatened to charge my card $200 for a cancellation fee and said that they had my IP address and lawyers would be coming after me. I have asked for corporates number and have now been ignored. This business is a scam.

I sent out a request online site to have my truck, which became inoperable while driving on a trip, towed about 200 miles back to my house. I received a quote from Smart CarShip of $245. I called them to discuss the quote. I was told that the quote was for an operable car. I told them that my car was inoperable and I needed a quote for that. The representative, *****, said he will call the driver to see how much extra it would be to use a winch to put the car on the tow vehicle. ***** said the driver quoted him a price of $75. I asked if there were any other fees, costs or expenses associated with towing my truck. He told me there was not and the $320 would be the total price. Smart Carship sent me a contract with a "Total Tariff" of $320 to ship the car. with a $100 upfront payment and the $220 balance would be "cash on delivery" to the driver. I signed the contract and paid the $100. On the day Smart Carship was to pick up the car, July 8, 2024, Smart Carship called and said the delivery price was now $595. I complained, and he said they can do it for $375. I again complained and they told me that the contracted price was only an estimate and refused to honor the $220. This was a classic bait and switch on the price -- initially a $220 contracted delivery fee price was later hiked up to $595 and then $375 after complaining. I told them I am cancelling the order as this was no where near the $220 agreed delivery fee. They threatened to charge me a $200 cancellation fee to which I objected. After much wrangling, threats and back and forth, they did say that would deliver the car for the $220 on Saturday, July 13. But they also reiterated that the $220 was still just an estimate and it could be higher so I refused as I had no idea what the final price would be. Also, their website says "the entirety of your vehicle transportation expenses are covered within our provided quote. This quote encompasses pickup, delivery, insurance, and taxes."

I accepted Smart Carship's quote of $599 to pick up my car from *******, ** on April 12th and transport it to **. I paid a $150 deposit on April 4th. On the scheduled pickup date of April 12th, no one contacted me to confirm that my car would be picked up. I called and texted the broker, *************************, and she said that the designated driver had an emergency and couldn't pick up the car. She said a new driver could pick up the car but for double the agreed upon quote. I told her to cancel my order and refund the deposit. She sent the matter to her supervisor *******. He rescheduled the pickup for April 25th. I checked in with him twice leading up to the pickup date. Both times he confirmed that the car would be picked up. Same story. No one showed up or called me to let me know. ******* won't return my call or text messages. I had to make arrangements with another transport company. All I want is my $150 deposit back from "Smart Carship."

Signed up with them to get my car delivered from *********, ***** to ******** **. They promised to be with me and support me through the process. At the time of delivery 20th of Feb, I asked them that I want to inspect and hence I want car delivered in the daylight. I was insisted to accept delivery after midnight, around 1AM. I spoke to them and told them the best time I take a review and inspection will be morning - they accepted and said we are fine. Next morning when I checked the car, fenders were scratched, body had a few scratches. This is when they said, you shouldn't have signed bill of lading - which they had initially said, don't worry we got your back if something goes wrong. Their sales person ack and said, the manager was asking for bill of lading but still, we will get the compensation. Please talk to the transport company. This is when I realised that I have to go pillar to post. I spoke to the transport company, they started giving excuses, asked for pics, which I sent. But then they said you need click pics when it is not raining - I did that too, then they asked click it from distance. After sending them 3 to 4 batches of pics, they just blatantly told me that talk to driver. We cannot do anything. I have been going back and forth and even driver also said that we will help you but as of yesterday they all have pulled back. This company also, despite the promises, eventually just wanted to move this issue to transport company. Now I am having to foot the repairs on a brand new car, disappointment of new car getting scratched aside. I can't attach the pics as it is more than 25MB

This company is doing a classic bait and switch continually and no one is doing anything about it. they should be stopped, prosecuted, their business practices investigated, and restitution to those clients they defrauded. They tried doing it to me as well and they guaranteed a ****** door-to-door cost, then they gave me a story their truck broke down, and then, it was the truck was going to cost ****** to transport. I have the complete text thread where you can clearly see he baited, switched then tried widdling down to lower prices, still all above the original quote. I want to know why the BBB after seeing this pattern is not contacted the district attorney's office in ************* and investigating. They need to be put in jail!!

The business is a scam. So they give you a quote, have you sign a contract, make a REFUNDABLE downpayment. They do not find a shipper for your vehicle until right before pickup date. They then inform you price is double or more. Then when you say no please cancel give back deposit. They do not return deposit because you cant cancel within 7 days of pick up but they literally tell you the changed price RIGHT before pickup.Plus there is a bunch of companies under them. This one is ************************* car shipping in **********. I realize lots of others doing it I was flooded with calls now I realize they are all the same. And all running the same scam.Unfortunately I paid by ***** because I would have challenged through the credit card company. So the contract is not the contract then you cant get out the contract unless you pay another 200. It is all ridiculous. My guy told me something was wrong I should have listened but I just thought I was fearful they would STEAL my car. But the instinct I had was that they are a scammers just taking deposits. I see they have a 1.7 rating wish I checked before I put up a deposit Info ************************* ( Auto Logistics Expert ) T: ***************** E: ******************************** A: ************************************************************************************ W:*********************************

This company is pure evil! They lie, deceive, are dishonest with their quotes! They have VERY misleading, deceptive, false advertising on their website. Their quotes are also very deceptive lies! Never informing you that you will NEVER get your money back! They keep your 1st payment towards the false order, EVEN when you Dont use their service!! They contacted me on 2/20/24 and gave me a verbal and written quote of $725, which later became $775. I signed the contract under the assumption of $150 is first Down payment, and $625 at the delivered vehicle. (Have picture of the original contract, take a screen shot! they delete after signed) Not hearing from them for two days, I later said I wanted to cancel, there had NOT been any driver or carrier contacted. They refused to give me my first payment back saying it has already gone to the carrier. Which again was a lie. Then I talked an employees boss, *****,& later to his boss, ********************* who informed me I would receive my money back before 4:00pm on 2/23/24. Nothing was refunded! I later contacted the company and was informed they couldnt refund it because first it went to the carrier and then was changed to they had contacted the carrier and so it wasnt refundable. I sent text messages two days after the initial request, stating we were going to pick up the vehicle ourselves and that we didnt want to use their company. He then said, we got in touch with an carrier its now $1070! I said, NO, no, no! And I also said, thats a lie,I have text stating I wanted a refund and it was BEFORE you got in touch with any carrier. When asked what carrier they sent my $150.00 to they couldnt tell me what carrier it was, just that the money was sent to a carrier so they couldnt refund it. This is a BAIT and SWITCH very EVIL, bad, horrible deceptive company! LOOK ON BBB, look on reviews, trust pilot. One of the employees even offered to pay me back $150 out of his OWN salary to remove my honest review of this company.

February 28th. Reassured/promised a certain price and after I signed the changed the price and told me if I canceled they would charge me $200. It says on their website that they do not tell you one price than change it. They told me whatever time worked for me worked for them and then they didn't pick it up at that time. Supposed to pick it up Monday and did not and never let me know and would not answer the phone. They said they would pick it up Wednesday morning after they change the price on me and then deliver it same day and then they would never answer their phone again and never could get a hold of them and they never came and dropped it off the 27th of February and they brought it the next day in the morning but I never heard back from them and they finally answered me Thursday the 28th. They also would barely give the transporter my information so I couldn't get a hold of them and they couldn't get a hold of me. They told me 2:25 all together and then I paid a $50 deposit then they turned around and said that it would be $400
