I definitely rate 0 stars on this company. We recently got Uber Eats in *******, ** a few months ago and I thought I would start using them. Today I ordered six items. The driver was able to find 1 of the items and replaced two items with items i'm allergic too. Seeing the notification for it, I message him and said, hey, please don't exchange those i'm allergic. At this point i'm forced to pay fees and a $11.00 tip to this driver having 1 item i actually ordered. He is showing as in the store when I text him however he doesn't reply until he's out of the store. He says talk to ***************** I talk to them about cancelling my order and i'm told because the driver had already left the store i was obligated to pay in full whether i got the items or not. On top of this who am i going to talk to outside of this customer service rep who does not care at all that i texted when the guy was in the store or that i'm allergic. This is bad business practices in my opinion.Review from Daniel C

I canceled an order less than 1 minute after placing it. The orde price jumped $20 after submitting it. Yet I saw I was still going to be charged for the full order. It has taken me 45 minutes with Uber Eats help to get a refund. I nor anyone else should have to go through this much of a hassle to get their refund. Their customer service agents continued to end the conversation with me being completely unsatisfied with the action. Stating that the order was already made by the merchant. There is no way the merchant made my order in 30 seconds. They scam you out of you money and try to keep it when you are within your rights to get the refund.Review from Melvin M

This company refuses to pay drivers for time and gas wasted picking up orders that were previously picked up by another driver. As a driver we are sent orders and have to drive, and wait at restaurants to pick up orders. We have to waste gas and time, but sometimes other drivers steal food. However if I have to drive to a restaurant, wait to be told it's been picked up, them have to waste another 30 minutes with customer service, I expect some compensation. Uber has refused to compensate me for several orders with this problem, which is no fault of mine. Nobody wants to or should be expected to work for free. This just seems illegal, and unethical. Drivers beware.Review from Leah T

If I could put 0 stars I would. I ordered $60 in food and got the WRONG order, took photos and because **** in a Box did not give a receipt i was held liable for it. They refused to refund my order and when escalated still stated it was the SAME order. It very plainly was not and is not the same order. $60 is not a small amount of food and to go from that to getting some guys breakfast platter and orange juice with HIS NAME written on the bag and get told that it's clearly mine? Y'all are out of your minds. I'm making sure to file with my bank about this. I am BEYOND upset.Review from Lisa F

I ordered a double order on Uber eats. The driver delivered the second order but not the first one. I messaged the driver asking where was the other order. He stated he left it at the store where he picked up the second order. He went back up to the store but of course the order was gone. He cancels the order. Uber eats sends a message saying that the order isnt eligible for refund. I contacted support and was told the driver wasnt able to locate me and called but I didnt respond so its not eligible for refund. I sent a screenshot of the messages between the driver and I showing the driver stated he left it at the store and that the driver had just left my home from delivering the first order and the support messages keeps sending the same message of the order isnt eligible for refund. I drive for Uber on weekends and called the help line. They transferred me to an Uber eats specialist who advised me that she isnt able to override the automated system and was unable to refund me she also wasnt able to advise me of why the order wasnt eligible for refund. I have just been robbed of my money and wonder how many other people Uber has done this to. I have cancelled all of my accounts with ********************** and will be using one of the other platforms for food delivery and driving for Lyft. I suggest everyone else do the same.Review from Marshay V

The customer service is terrible and the ******************** service is even worst. The customer service department does not respond to any complaints I had. The Uber eats I recently had the delivery driver put my food near the grass instead of the front porch and ants got all over my food. I requested to speak with customer service no response and filed a complaint no response yet! Uber eats is the worst delivery service ever created !Review from Junnetta H

My complaint is with Uber eats. It seems like this company has originated in the ************* and they have no laws. They can take your money and not give you your product and there is nothing anybody can do about it when ordering from Uber eats if any of your food is missing you have to fuss and argue with the company just for them to say that you receive everything as if they were there with you and to deny you a refund and there is no laws for them to keep them from doing this the only thing I can do as a consumer is block them with my bank. Once my transaction has gone through, there have been plenty of occasions with ordered food and did not receive that food and was denied a refund. There **** to be some type of law put in place for this company because they should not be allowed to keep consumers money even though I did not receive what I ordered. This company needs to be stopped in band. Uber eats Uber DoorDash. These companies need to be stopped and banned. They are taking consumers money. They have no laws and they are acting independently and all of the customer service representatives are outsourced. meaning they are not even based in the ************************ yet they are taking Americans money.Review from Laura S

I am a gold level delivery driver with Uber and I will no longer be delivering for them because of a recent issue. I think that I qualify for backup balance via the Uber Pro Card app because I ran a statement of my earnings for the month of June and the app said I earned $708 therefore qualifying me for backup balance. I still couldn't access the feature in the Uber Pro Card app so I reached out to customer support and tried to explain the situation to them. I was told I only earned $685 in June so I would not be eligible. I brought up the June statement the app created and asked if the app was wrong in calculating my earnings. I never got a response from the customer service representative ***. I tried to reach back out to customer support but you can no longer reach them thru telephone only chat and when you chat the rep just copies and pastes stuff and then stops responding. As of right now, there is no successful way to communicate with Uber so I am forced to come on here and explain the situation. Do NOT use Uber!!! They do NOT care about their drivers!Review from Joshua S

To start with, if I could file a review with 0 stars, I would. I started working Uber Eats delivery in the last weeks of June to make some passive income while searching for work. Everything started fine as for any other and the first week of pay was surprising to say the least, of course I wanted to continue doing this for a while longer. The issue started when I received an order to be delivered at our local Army base in **. I didn't realize it the first time until I was at the gates and speaking to the *** they had me turn around and go to their visitor center to request a visitors pass. I did that but was denied due to my nationality, which is understandable for the Army. I did my due diligence and tried finding alternative means to deliver to no avail. This happened 3x as you don't really see where you are supposed to be going until after you confirm pickup. After the 3rd cancelled trip to the Army base, of course my account was restricted per their guidelines. Okay, I get it, that's why they have an appeal process. Well I went in and did my best to appeal but the form in the app is not working. I tried so many ways but it just wouldn't go through. Okay, I tried calling and messaging their support; I must have talked with at least 5 representatives and they all either lied to me saying they looked into the issue and fixed it or they kept pointing me back to the appeals form. I would repeat to them that their form doesn't work until finally, one of the reps sent me an alternative link to fill out. Okay, finally I'm moving forward with the appeal. I fill it out providing my side of the story about the cancelled trips and why. A representative gets in contact with me and still asks for me details because apparently everything I had written out for them was still unclear, makes you wonder if they have room temperature IQ. In the end, after speaking with several clueless agents, I decided to write this review. Their competition, DD, is better.Review from Helen M
