            Engaged with HotelsInAmerica to secure a hotel room at ***********, ********** on 7/10/2024.Upon arrival to the property, multiple issues were observed:-No safety in the parking lot - inadequate lighting, groups of males hanging out and drinking, no security cameras, no security oversight -Inside the hotel, strong cigarette and musky/moldy smell that triggered my/my child's mold allergy, expired elevator certificate of operation -Inside the room, unsafe electrical configurations, cables ran across the floor, dripping faucet in the bathroom that has removed the protective enamel, running personal humidifiers, no active ventilation system in bathroom, metal sticking out of AC unit, mold allergies triggered and unable to breathe, broken items hanging on wall, dirty bed sheets, smoke detector seemed very old and sprinkler looked as though it had been tampered with We were unable to use the service/room completely. The room and hotel advertisements and reviews were misleading and not reflective of the standards for the hotel. The service/room purchased was not the service upon receipt and lead to health implications.

            HORRIFIC. DEPLORABLE. SCAM ARTISTS. CHARGED ME $430.65 FOR A BOOKING THAT NEVER WENT THROUGH. WON'T REIMBURSE AND THEN LIED TO MAKE IT "GO THROUGH" 6 DAYS LATER TO AVOID REIMBURSING ME. PAYPAL IS AWFUL AS THEY TAKE THEIR TIME TO INVESTIGATE AND I HAVE BEEN USING PAYPAL CONSISTENTLY FOR 25 YEARS. AND THE ABSOLUTE WORST OF ALL OF THIS IS--- THE ONE OTHER TIME I USED HOTELS IN AMERICA WAS 5 WEEKS AGO. WENT AWAY WITH A FRIEND, AND SHE BOOKED THROUGH THEM. THIS VERY NEW CHARGE FOR $430.65 WAS CHARGED TO THIS FRIEND WHO HAD NO IDEA I BOOKED A NEW FUTURE ********** JUST SAW THE CHARGE SHOW UP. HOW IN THE ***** DID THEY LINK MY CREDIT CARD TO HERS? OH- WELL THROUGH INFO STEALING DATA FROM THE ***** WE STAYED AT THE ONE TIME AS WE BOTH LEFT THE ***** OUR CARDS FOR EXTRA ROOM CHARGES. SHE IS FIGHTING WITH PAYPAL TO GET REIMBURSED TOO. I AM FINDING A CLASS ACTION ATTORNEY TO HANDLE THIS AND WILL HOPEFULLY FIND ALL THE OTHERS WHO'VE BEEN SCAMMED BY THEM.
