I signed up for a free trial.I did not like it and looked to cancel.Email from customer care told me sorry, i signed up for a year.$250 a month? I told him I signed up for a free trial. I asked what is the point of a free trial if Im stuck for a year? My logic got through. I got my refund. Very SCAM.

Towards acting in good faith, I communicated with a Casetext representative "Jake" and identified that I wanted to use their service for "one month only." I was told this was possible, so I proceeded with using Casetext's service. What I did not know, Casetext defaults to a 2-year contract. and my pre-identified desire for one month access to their product has turned into this contested issue... I accessed Casetext January 29, 2023, payment of $225 was debited from my bank account on January 30, 2023, and I went to cancel this service on February 6, 2023, where I was told I signed on for 2-years. I appealed to representatives that a mistake has been made, and asked to be released from this contract, as stated below. It looks like when you subscribed on November 12th you correctly chose the Monthly option. You then canceled that subscription and on January 29th you resubscribed for a Biennial subscription. In my opinion this was a DEFAULT ****! I request Casetext to do the right thing, Cancel me!
