      I had my truck towed June 9th 2023 to Sals auto repair. I only dropped it off because he said he could do the work. I needed my fly wheel put on but he had to drop the transmission in order to do it. He took my transmission out and said that the transmission needed repair I needed to purchase a new one because it had been messed up. He told me an estimated price deposit of $1000 in order to start but nothing was wrong with my transmission. $1800 total on how much it will be. I said ok Ill look around for one. It took longer than expected because I'm not working at the moment. I then went by the shop multiple times and he wouldnt be there. I also called and texted his phone. I finally got fed up with the running around trying to figure it out. I went the shop again September 7th 2023 around **** ish to pick up my keys and I noticed my tire was flat and my right mirror was stolen off my truck. I asked him what happened he said people come around and steal stuff all the time. I stated why wasnt I called ? He looked dumb founded. So I eventually picked up my truck September 15th 2023 when I had it towed back to my house I also noticed my truck had been vandalized. My fuses, spark plugs, engine control module, all my electrical wires from under the hood are stolen, passenger mirror, tail lights, my radio, all my wiring is all over and take out. I had to go back and pick up my transmission and other belongings because he did not put my transmission back in and sold my old fly wheel off my truck and was not told to do that. There is wiring hanging down underneath and Im not sure what else is missing because Im not a mechanic. My truck was in good shape when I dropped it off. I picked it up and it was totally stripped. I went up there yesterday September 25th to talk to him and he told me that what happened to my truck isnt his problem because it wasnt on his property which is false information because I left it in his care. He worked on it and had my keys. Which means he left it unlocked.

      This is *********************************** the client is right she did tow the vehicle in to have the flywheel replaced. When the truck arrived the transmission was secured by a chain, the bellhousing of the transmission was broken at the top bolts and other pieces were missing. I also found that the torque converter was slamming back and fourth in between the motor and transmission that is a very delicate part of the transmission which can be damaged very easily and needs to be handled with care. She had someone  I assume start the work on the suv before it arrived here.  I did tell her, I strongly recommend replacing the transmission or to have it rebuilt because the transmission was not secured and the parts were slamming around. I gave her an estimate over the phone, she didn't respond then she came up with an idea to buy ********** it would be cheaper but she needed my address to ship to because they would not ship it to a residential address. A week went bye and nothing. I did let her know from the beginning that I did not have much space for storing vehicles.  After that I did tell her to pick up the vehicle as nothing was getting done, no parts, she had no money for parts or labor.  I am sorry she is currently unemployed. but I checked her vehicle for free and let it stay here for some time. She stated she came by for her keys and and a week later towed the vehicle out.  Then 10 days later figured all the vandalism that had happened. The truck being "good shape" when she brought it in, not running, leaking transmission fluid parts hanging from the truck parts missing .  I am her to run a business and provide the best services I can.  There was no storage fees I just wanted her to pick up the truck. I consider my time valuable this truck has cost me a lot of time.

       I am rejecting this response because: Although my truck was dropped off I was told he could fix the problem he than begin to give me the run arround. If he wasn't going to fix it he could have simply said I'm not doing the work. My truck was vadalized while there in his possession. I would have never sent my truck there to just sit especially when I had no idea about people's cars getting broken into. It was his responsibility to make sure my truck was taken care of but he chose not too. My truck sat there for about two weeks before he had even touched my truck. It had nothing to do with me being unemployed. Once he did the work and it was done I was going to pay him. If he took the transmission out he should have put it back together like it was but he rarely was up at the shop when I did go there and did not answer his phone often.

      Put a brand new or used transmission in my truck for the vandalism that was done to my truck while in his possession or pay for the property that was taken from my truck.
