On 7/23/21 I issued a check of $2,500 payable to ************* (B.M.C Heating & Air Conditioning) to install a Mini Split and the approximate start date was 7/26/21. He was supposed to start on 8/4/21and sent me a text message using a different phone number which is ************ that he had an inspection in Palo Alto, and he would be there all day, and will be at my house the next day at 8:00 am. On August the 5th, ***** started the work. On 8/6/21 he no showed. On 8/7/21, one of his workers had a family issue and could not come. On 8/11/21 at 8:16 am, ***** sent me a message that he was on his way from Los Banos and was stuck in traffic and would be 45 min. late. On 8/12/21, he no showed and did not answer phone call or message. On 8/13/21, I request a refund for the $2,500 via text. Still no answer from *****. I called him on Wednesday morning 8/18/21 and surprisingly he answered my call. I told him that I wanted my $2,500 back. See attachment for more details.
