There are two parts to this: The person we purchased from & the shipping company. They're working together. On 15 Oct 23, my daughter (20yo) was online looking for a snake. She was on ********** Reptile Rehoming page when she saw a snake she wanted. She contacted the person selling the snake, *************************** for info and cost. He replied $180 (shipping included). I paid him, and he said he would send the snake the next day for overnight shipping. 16 Oct 23 ******* sent the snake using Gloxp Logistics shipping company and sent my daughter the tracking # GX070381618868L. Later that day, I received an email from Gloxp my snake was put on hold until I pay a refundable $250 insurance shipping fee (plus $12.54 payment fee). I chatted online with one of their reps & was told I'd get the money back once my pet is delivered. I paid $263 and the status was "in transit" with an arrival of 17 Oct 23 at ****hrs. Today, I looked at the status and it's on hold, again. I received another email stating I'm required to pay $200 for the refund form and warehousing of my package. It said the $200 is fully refundable. I chatted with one of their reps who said this fee is completely different and I'd also get the $200 back. That's when I knew this was a scam. My daughter went back to the ******** page and wrote a complaint. The admin contacted her and the admin blocked *******. My daughter tried to contact ******* for a refund. He had deleted his conversation and didn't reply. I paid: *************************** $180 (email ******************************* Logistics $250 + fee = $442.54 The person and business committed to send us a female Lesser Ball Python Nature of dispute: Scammed out of money ******* and Gloxp Logistics did not attempt to resolve the problem. Gloxp asked for more money.Tracking number: GX070381618868L ******* was on ********** Reptile Rehoming page. ******* chose the shipping company.Note: The address and phone number I used in this complaint is directly from Gloxp Logistics.
