I purchased a *** RnineT motorcycle from ************ *** Motorsport at the price of $20890 on September 3, 2022. *** motorcycle stopped working while commuting on I-680 South on September 27, 2022. *** motorcycle had to be towed to the dealership at a cost of $311. *** current odometer reads 954 miles. *** dealership has diagnosed that the motor had too much oil which caused it to blow out. *** dealership has estimated that we will need to pay around $8000 to get the motorcycle fixed and that this would not be covered under warranty. While it is a likelihood that we might have overfilled the oil, we would also like them to note that the motorcycle does not come with a gauge that indicates a maximum capacity or when we need to stop adding oil, which is what led to likely overfilling. Having paid over $20000 for the motorcycle, and having used it for less than **** miles, we would like to request *** consider fixing the motorcycle under warranty, especially since there is no clear mechanism for a consumer to avoid overfilling.Business response

We at ************ *** are sorry for the situation you find yourself in, however the issue was due to you over filling your motorcycle with oil and not a warranty issue. There are many false statements in this claim.
-*** offers ***************** assistance including complimentary towing. $311 tow was unnecessary
-during inspection of motorcycle we found the bike to be drastically over filled with oil. Customer stated that he had added 1 quart of oil, resulting in catastrophic engine failure.
-the motorcycle has a large sight-glass on the side of the engine used for checking and adjusting oil as clearly explained in owners manual.
-We presented the findings to *** NA, as we at ************ *** are not granted the ability to determine warranty eligibility. All warranty eligibility is determined by the manufacture *** NA.
-*** NA denied warranty eligibility for this issue due to the improper use of the product as outlined in the the owners manual.
-We recommend contacting *** customer support for any further concerns regarding this issue.
