      Ebay has let a buyer scam me!A customer wanted to return an item after they broke it. I declined to do a refund.They broke the item, it was after the 30 day return window, and they knew exactly what they were buying, everything was in the description, along with me personally reaching out to the buyer as well to confirm purchase of item. Another month later they do a charge back on their card saying its a fraud purchase.They clearly made the purchase, knew what they were purchasing, and broke the item, and wanted a refund because of it. I am now out of over $276 - Why am I paying ebay fees, taxes shipping and the item. Why would I pay taxes on something that is returned, wouldn't there be no taxes, and ebay fess on top of it. I would like at least the fee amount, shipping and taxes back.Also ebay has told that the buyer doesn't have to send back the item as well.I was scammed and ebay should be held accountable for letting this happen

      I signed up with ebay to sell some medical equipment that me and my business partners owned and had used for a number of years but no longer needed. My account was activated in June of 2024 and I had my first sale was completed at the end of June. I shipped the product within 24 hours to the customer. The customer did take the entire ***************************************************** that time I sent the customer 2 separate emails and made a phone call to inform them the item was ready for pick up. The total price of purchase was about $3500. After taxes and fees I was due $2600. In July shortly after I had received an additional customer purchase I was emailed by ********************** saying my account had been suspended and that my payments were on hold. I had at least 3 phone conversations with Ebay representatives. All of them stated for some reason my account had been flagged as "risky" and they could not nor would not be able to tell me why. I have no interest in doing business with Ebay any further however they still owe me $2600 for my sale. They inform me they have up to 170 days (nearly 1/2 a year) to pay me the money owed to me for my sale? The representative state it's in accordance with the banks policies since a person can claim fraud up to 170days. So meanwhile my equipment is being used by someone else and my money is being held by a company because I'm a "at risk seller"? Which no one can tell me why or what that means. In my mind Ebay has committed theft / grand larceny.

      As a seller over years and years. I have to say sadly theres no protection for sellers. The buyers always win the case even though they are wrong and misused return policy. I have a buyer bought a brand new Coach Wallet sealed in original packaging. After using a few weeks, she worn out and damaged the wallet, then requested to return. eBay made me accept the return and refund the buyer. I even have to pay return shipping. Unbelievably ridiculous. Nowhere on earth any business will accept return after using the item for many weeks.

      Do not trust the guarantees they give you on ****** and ebay about money back guarantees. I was scammed and despite overwhelming evidence neither protected me or replaced my lost funds

      Imposible to get seller support, can not talk to an agent. If Im paying almost 20% in fees, I expect better support for a seller in need!

      Ebay's new autopay program charges the buyer the full postage amount when the buyer purchases multiple items from the seller. It will not let either the buyer or seller adjust the postage amount. The send invoice feature for the seller is broken and does not function. There appears to be no way to get past the Ebay chat bot to get satisfaction with the issue.

      I started an account on ********************** a week ago and posted an item for sale. After a few days I was permanently banned with no warning or ability to fix it. When I contacted their helpline, I was told that they CANNOT reinstate my account and CANNOT tell me the reason why I was PERMANENTLY banned on their platform so I can't "circumvent their policies", acting as if I was a scummy hacker who got busted cheating the system. I have done nothing on the account besides post a singular item. I have sent no messages, nor have I even had the chance to buy anything. I had the account for five days, I created it on Wednesday and was suspended permanently on the following Sunday. I have contacted their helpline twice, and attempted another listed number to avail. Left with no way to learn what I did wrong, and no one either able or willing to help me fix the problem, this company has failed me as a consumer.

      I purchased a atv battery through ebay. Within a few months time battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than 1 day. The seller sold it to me with a 1 yr warranty. I tried to contact the seller but it says they are not accepting messages from me. I contacted ebay and ******. ****** said they would refund me. I waited and nothing came. I contacted them again and they said it's too late because I didn't reply to some email they said they sent. I told them I didn't get an email. They said it's to late. As soon as I got off the phone with them I mysteriously got their email. They said it's to late so I ended up with a atv battery that won't work and the seller is still on ebay s******* people over. Ebay and ****** shouldn't be trusted if they are not going to back buyers like they say

      Theres no seller protection on eBay I have sold item on eBay It was cylinder head for ****** I did mention its used need service with mechanic shop Customer bought it Then for no reason asked for return EBay toke my money and give to customer I have lost my parts and lost money $700

      use to love Ebay...now wont purchasde from Ebay...last 3 items...no confirmation of purchase last two items...one never recieved but said delivered,...other damaged, but box in perfect condition...screwed both times...cant get in touch with Ebay...they just dont care...years ago was great. Will shop Amazon from here on in.
