Transaction Date: 12/11/23. (Job 12/5 - 12/11)Amount paid: $7500 Companys commitment Gas pipe replacement Nature of dispute: Unclear pricing and leaving the work area and surrounding areas very messy. On several occasions I reported to the company owner, ********, that his crew had left a mess. First report was made on 12/9. I spoke of the muddy mess tracked throughout the majority of the back yard as well as the concrete water splatter on our exterior house walls, patio furniture, and exterior garage walls. I also mention the muddy mess and dirt running down the drive way. He stated the reason for the mess was because it had rained and his crew was still slated to come back on Monday to complete the job (fill in the trench and clean up). We spent hours cleaning the mess over the weekend. His crew returned on Monday, filled in the trench, which does not match the surrounding aggregate concrete work, and claimed to have wiped down a few areas. At this point, I decided I no longer wanted the crew on my property and requested they leave. I called ******** and complained about the mess that was left behind again. All the original mess, plus additional loose aggregate rock in the surrounding work area, and the areas we had taken the time to clean were dirty again. Account/order/tracking number: No written quote was provided at any point. The initial quote was verbally quoted at $1500 for a short run. After the line was tested, it was determined there was still a leak in the gas line and a new run would need to made to replace the remaining faulty gas line. An updated verbal quote was provided at $6000. Payment was made of $2000 after first line was completed with an understanding the crew would return the following day to complete the additional run. After second line was installed, additional payment of $4000 was made, totaling $6000. After the work on 12/11, they requested an additional $1500, claiming the second quote was in addition to the original quote.

We responded to this complaint by mail when we received it awhile back. Im not sure why it wasnt received but I apologize for that.

I sent my plumber back out to clean up the mess that was photographed. It had to wait until Monday because we were on another emergency water line break. We had a customer without water and were trying to fix it when the customer called. We are only a small family business and my entire team was already on an emergency call.

Sometimes our emails go to spam because it is sent through a third party, house call pro. I will reach out to the customer and be sure to send them any estimates an invoices we have on file.

please call me directly ************ if you need anything else thank you

Paid $***** for the services of installing tankless water heater with recirculation pump and water softener. 1. Installed tankless water heater on a spot not at a proper clearance height. Failed inspection. Had to reinstall machine. 2. Installed tankless heater and water softener with 20 small pieces of (untreated) plywood to hold together. Of course pieces of cut plywood rot with time. 3. Over threaded pipe. Instead of replacing that damaged part, the worker left it untightened and gas leaked. I told ******** that I smelled gas. He said I was probably smelling carbon monoxide that is released from the machine. I told him that I will call PG&E because the smell did not go away. ********'s response was "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I did call PG&E and they found a gas leak cause by over threading of the pipe that was not screwed in. 4. There are currently about 50 holes on the sidings from all the "fixes" of the poorly installed systems. They are not going to repair that. 5. They installed "recirc" which another plumber (of ********'s) said was wrong. He took it off and left my sink unhooked to plumbing and without water. I asked when this will be completed, ********'s response is "leave me alone." and there is no more response. I am reporting this company to all organizations that can help this company do better and not hurt other home owners. **UPDATE: ********'s plumber who took off with the supposed "recirc" unit... lead me to call Navien and their certified technicians. I am now told that there should be 3 pipes going into the machine (one for recirculation), but ******** plumbing installed 2. Now a certified technician will come out and make all repairs.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/28) */ 8:47 0l 5G% Edit response Thank you for your review, I'm sorry you feel this way. We went above and beyond for you as we do for all of our customers. We made your problem our priority as soon as we got your call. You called us with no hot water, we got you up and running with a new tankless water heater and hot water the same day. This job did have some corrections that needed to be made, but we fixed them and passed inspection. This customer had other subcontractors work on the electrical sub panel on the tankless water heater we installed for her which made it throw an error. The water heater has had issues since the other subcontractors have done work there. We decided to continue to go above and beyond and Replace the water heater there with another brand new tankless water heater. The new water heater we installed is shooting the error again. I feel like if anything, this customer took advantage of us. We had our personal electrician, go back out there after everything to help again, free of charge and he was bad ******** Our electrician has worked for us for twenty years and has never had a bad review. We also took $***** off of her final bill because she was still not happy. We have done everything we can for this customer.
