I took my wife to action urgent care in December of 2023. They insisted on collecting $225 for visit even though it was covered fully by my insurance. I called them later and they told me that they will issue a refund for my visit. However, I've been unable to get them to process the refund despite actively following up with them in the past 7 months. They replied a few times saying that the refund will be processed, and then later on they stopped replying to my email. I'm willing to provide more information as required. I'm enclosing in the attached the latest email conversation I have with them.

On Feb 18, 2024 I went to Action Urgent Care on ***************************************************************************************. I paid $225 for the visit even though my copayment was only $50. I was told I will not be seen if I don't pay $225 and I ended up in paying $225 to be seen by the doctor. My insurance company's (Aetna) EOB clearly mentioned that I need to pay only $50 as a copayment and not $225 that was charged by Action Urgent Care. I have been in touch with Action Urgent Care for the past 3 months and they are not processing my check for the remaining balance.

I went to action urgent care to see someone about a possible eye infection. I do not feel like I received the minimum level of care from the provider. The provider was brief, rude, and condescending. He dismissed my concerns about my vision being blurry without explaining the reason for the blurriness. He did not ask me if he could touch my eye before starting to grab my eyelid. This was very startling because my eye is a very sensitive part of my body. He prescribed me an ointment after I asked to be prescribed something to prevent an infection in my eye. However, he did not explain to me the purpose of the ointment, when to apply the ointment, or how to apply the ointment. I had to call back after the appointment to get this information. When I asked him to clarify which CVS pharmacy the prescription was sent to, he said, "I don't know, it was whichever one you told us". When I told him that I had an unrelated question, he said, "I don't do unrelated questions". People go to urgent care because they have urgent concerns about illness. While I was prescribed medication, none of the other services required by an urgent care were provided. I got no information about my health. This was a waste of time.

In February 2022 I was visiting *************. We were at a ***************************** and they required proof of vaccination/booster or a negative Covid test to enter. One minor in our party was not boosted, so we had to get a Covid test for the minor. The museum said the tests were free.We stood in line and while we were in line, the employee who was checking people in told us to download the Kyla *** to register. Since we were from out of town I ran into the issue that my address was not in their service area. The employee showed me how to bypass that portion of the ***. I asked the employee if the tests were free for non residents and she said yes. I also mentioned that the minor who was getting tested did not have insurance, she told me that not to worry about it, the test was free. The test was administered and we went to the museum.Fast forward to May 2023 (over a year later) I received an email from Action Care that I had a balance due. I emailed them and they said it was from February 2022. I explained the situation, but they never emailed or contacted me with a response. Now they sent an email stating they are escalating the balance. If I had know I was going to receive a $150 bill for a Covid test, I would have not gotten the test. However, the employees ensured me the test was free. The company mislead me on the cost of services.

Date of transaction: ******** *** ***** I scheduled a telemedicine appointment in the afternoon of **** *** ***** I was emailed a link to a **** meeting where I was supposed to be seen by a doctor. I clicked on the **** link and waited for a doctor for 30-40 minutes. After those 30-40 minutes passed I called the clinic. A nurse answered and told me to exit the **** room - they had forgotten about my appointment. The nurse then told me I would be contacted by another nurse when a doctor was ready to see me. I never received that phone call. A couple weeks ago I received an email saying I had an unpaid bill. I am being charged $*** for services I never received. I have contacted the facility and been given instructions to email their billing department about the situation. I have done so and received no reply. In fact, I received another notification about my outstanding bill instead of any explanation or resolution.

Myself ******.me my husband and my 2 year old baby went to Action urgent care for Covid testing at ******** ******* *** ***** We were scheduled to fly to ***** today ***** @ **** AM PST . We therefore drove more than 40 miles to your clinic on Tuesday ******* and got our RT-PCR test done around 1:20 PM PST. The attending nurse confirmed that the results will be available the same evening or latest by Wednesday ******* morning PST. However even after repeated follow-up emails, phone calls we didn't receive the result. One of the technicians on Wednesday afternoon confirmed that the result will surely be available by 5 PM PST. But we kept waiting and waiting and nothing came and we had to miss our flight this morning. We were going to ***** for business as well as family purpose. Last minute we had to pay huge penalty because of Action Urgent care Negligence and irresponsibility. The financial, emotional and psychological harassment and trauma that my family including the infant had to go through due to this has left us in an extremely bad state. We are now left to reschedule the flight at a huge penalty and additional cost. Not only that, all of us including my little daughter will have to undergo Covid test again which is a pain for us. I have missed a couple of extremely urgent client meetings. Not only we tried to call email **** support team. They are not picking up phone calls. After almost a month they said Apologies and they offering us free covid test if we need any. This business is fraud they never give you result , we are waiting for our results more than a month forget about 72 hrs.
