Mr. Jeff P**** is the opposite of a Vacation Concierge. I lost my mom in 2018 shortly after my separation from my ex. I was in a very dark place. But I found love again in my *******. When I finalized my divorce in February 2020, just before the pandemic, I reached out to one of the best realtors in the world, **************************************...************* to help me fulfill my promise to my daughter to find a place in Niguel Shores, this insane beach community in Dana Point next to the **** *******. Her best friends lived there, as did mine. She found a place managed by Mr. P****, and we signed a year lease at $5,700/month with a $9,200 deposit. Boom! \April 3, 2020 at around 10pm at night, ******* had a heart attack right in front of me (ventricular tachycardia). It was the second time I ever administered CPR. The first was my mom. This time it worked. They stabilized her and got her to ******* Hospital. But, in the beginning of the pandemic, no visitors allowed. Still, after 6 days in a coma and 3 weeks in recovery, I brought her home. Two weeks later, we finally made the move to Niguel Shores! Yes, we had a blast! There was pure joy after what we went through. We partied and went to the beach and had friends over a lot! We had awesome neighbors, from the ****** to ****** to ***** and ***** to ****** *** (a kindred spirit) Mr. P**** was having none of that. Yes, I got fined $1000 for letting my kids climb on the roof (which was awesome!!) and I paid it and apologized. But we kept that place spotless. It didn't matter. Mr. P**** just had it out for me. He even got an attorney, *********** ******* at **** **** (***********************************************************) to serve me an unlawful detainer because Mr. P**** saw a second dog at the house (which was a friend's dog). Seriously. And he saw the dog because he came to pick up mail I saved for him. Seriously. We had our issues, but I thought we were chill (and I had my rent on autopay), so at the end of the lease, I asked him if we could renew. I would've even paid extra. He got Mr. ******* to email me "no." I asked if I could buy the place then. He said "no." We were in Utah at the time, visiting *******'s family for the first time since the pandemic and after her heart attack, so I asked if we could at least get a 30 day extension. (Everyone knows how hard it is right now to find a place to live). He said "no." Ok. That's his right but it was clear he was hellbent to put us on the street. So we packed up and drove back to Dana Point. On the way, ******* had a seizure! We stayed 9 days in Henderson, Nevada for her to recover. I was so stressed about getting her home, I pulled her out of the hospital against medical advice so we could have time to pack and move out. I told Mr. P**** this. He didn't give a ****. But we did it. We worked our butts off and made that place spotless. In the middle of the pandemic, we moved out when he asked...without question. He and Carole, his agent, inspected the house on TWO walkthroughs, one on Monday, 4/26 and one on Friday 4/30 (the last day of our lease). I asked him both times (per our lease agreement) what issues he had with the house. He said (1) some minor holes; (2) laundry door was detached; and (3) warped wood flooring in the bathroom. I memorialized this in writing. So, from left field, I get response 3 weeks letter saying he's going to take $3,600 out of my deposit because of landscaping issues, hole in the walls, floor polishing!! ***?? I'm not saying I'm without fault. But really?? He paid a lawyer to prepare an unlawful detainer against me because (among other things) I had an extra dog in the house from a visitor, and the lawyer did it!! lol! You be the judge. Share this post. I tried to reason with him. I apologized for the "lack of respect" he thought I showed. I even agreed to kick in $1000. I just wanted $2,600 back. I had to move. That money was important to me. He showed zero compassion. Enjoy this post, Mr. P****, Ms. O*****, and Mr. ******* .
