I have been dealing with one of the sales representatives at San leandro Mazda for the last few weeks. We wanted to buy a new car so we went to the dealership and met with Sandeep(he called himself Raj). We test drove a CX-30 and CX-5 and we told him we will get back to him..He took my number and gave me his card. Since that day, we have been messaging each other to finalize the deal. I have each of his messages on my phone and the **** he offered($26,420) in the text. After we finalized the price, I went to San Leandro Mazda on Thursday 02/17/2022 at **** pm. I saw Raj there, and he told me to speak with *****, his manager(finance). I inquired about the ****% APR that Mazda is offering, ***** advised me that if we are not willing to pay the MARKED UP price, he is not able to get me the **** % rate. Instead he can get me ****%. After I spoke to my wife on the phone, we decided to pay for the car in full instead of financing. ***** told me that it will be perfect and he can start the paperwork. I told him I will pay the deposit of $2500 by credit now which I did. He made me sign a number of documents and told me we can pick up the car on Sunday when we bring the check for the remaining balance. Also as I requested he said my wifes name can be added on Sunday when we come to pick up the car. I even emailed him my wife's DL. ***** took a copy of my license,SSN,insurance details and also ran my credit check.***** and Raj congratulated me for the new car and they put a sold sign in front of me on the car.Next morning on Friday 02/18, I got a call from ***** who said he can't hold the car until Sunday as he doesnt have the check. I told him, we discussed this yesterday and he agreed for us to drop off the check on Sunday. I told him I am busy today and cant come. On Sat 02/19, he called me and said deal is off and he will refund the money without even my consent. I was so shocked. I had already signed paperwork and I thought we had a deal. I feel cheated after this.

On 12/21/21, I had my car towed to San Leandro Mazda for a diagnosis for my alarm because the car would start, however, the horn was stuck and I was informed by a technician at Mazda it must be the security system and it needed to be reset. After at least a week of waiting for information regarding my car, I was informed there was a short in my system and it needed to be replaced. After another week or so, I was informed they could not find the part to do the work and they will unhook the horn and the car will continue to start. When I arrived at Mazda to retrieve my car, the car would not start. The technician and the specialist informed me my starter was bad. Unwilling to accept that as a viable answer, I insisted they figure out what was wrong with my car, after all, it came out worse than when it went in. A few days later I was informed they changed the starter and that was not the problem either. When I went to retrieve my car, I was informed they did some sort of electrical by-pass to get the car running, although the horn was no longer working. When I got in the car, the horn did not work, the heater and air condition digital read was no longer working, the radio no longer worked etc. I was informed by the manager, they did me a favor by changing the starter and there was nothing they could do. I insisted on answers. After about a month of calming down, I reached out to San Leandro Mazda to figure out what could be done to fix the problem. Mazda scheduled an appointment with me. I received a phone call the following day by one of the managers saying they would not work on my car again so deal with it. Therefore, I'm dealing with it by reaching out to you for some assistance in rectifying this situation.
