I made a purchase of a $1 item from my sunshinevibes.com on July 15, 2024. Shipping was $4.92 for a total of $5.92. A free item that I could not remove from the cart was called "VIP Club" without details informing me what it was. I ignored it since it was free. On July 26 and Aug 15, I had bank statement charges of $99.45 that show up as "Sunny Skin" from the state of *****. It was incredibly difficult to track down the origin of the charges. They did not confirm, bill, or invoice for these surprise (fraudulent) charges that are $99.45 monthly (not by email, physical mail, phone, or text). It took nearly a month of sleuthing to connect Sunny Skin (**) with Sunshine Vibes (CA). After finding the source of the charges, I emailed them to cancel and request refund. I got an auto response with no option other than to request additional assistance. No cancellation or response occurred after that. I had to dig further to determine how to initiate cancellation on their web site. That was very convoluted. Once I cancelled, I was routed through 4 or 5 more pages where I needed to confirm "yes, I want to cancel", most of the time, that was fine print text so that one could EASILY opt back into these charges by accident. I FINALLY cancelled. The privileges of their bogus membership were terminated immediately (not prorated for the one day since charged or set to expire at the end of 30 days). After further digging, I found one place that states monthly VIP Club charges are $68.44 after a 10 day trial. Another place states it's $99.97. It also states that the charges will appear as "SUNSHINE" on the bank statement (they don't). All of this makes it extremely difficult to web search a mystery charge of $99.45 associated with Sunny Skin in **. I also tried calling their customer service number but agents are never available. There are several problematic business practices with Sunshine Vibes. We are initiating complaints with our bank, the **** and our state Attorney General.

I purchased a product from an online retailer by the name of Sunshine Vibes. When I purchased the product, they unknowingly signed me up for a subscription service. I was unaware of this and only found out once a charge was charged to my bank. When I called to report it, the bank said that I had a charge from them the month before. I looked at transaction history and found that in addition to the product purchase, I was charged 2 additional times: one for ***** and again for *****. The charge comes up as My Sunshine ******** as merchant. I called the number on the account, many times. they do not answer but have you enter your phone number to receive a text with a link. I did not want to click the link, afraid of viruses, but after disputing with my bank and being told i had to contact the seller, i was forced to click. It took me to Sunshine Vibes which them displayed my account. It shows my purchase and a membership which has been charged twice without my consent. I have screenshots attached. I have reached out to the company via an email on their site, but their activity needs to be stopped. I found tedtimonies of others also being charged without their consent. screenshots attached.

My name is Constance J**** and on June 24, 2024 I placed an order for some hair growth oil that was priced at $1 was charged $15.61 for it then on July 2, 2024 my card was charged $89.14 because they said that when I ordered the hair growth oil that I automatic became a VIP member and that it was in the terms so I figured that it was my fault so I ate that charge. On July 9, 2024 after trying to dispute the charge I was sent a email saying that the VIP membership was canceled. Also on July 10, 2024 I was sent another email saying that the membership was canceled. Therefore I couldn't be charged for anything else but on August 6, 2024 I was charged $99.45 and when I reached out to them I was told that when you purchase an item that was sold at a discount that you had to have a VIP membership for 10 days. The item that I purchased was in June 2024 so that meant I was supposed to have become a VIP member but I canceled the membership in July 2024 which meant that I should no longer been charged but on August 6, 2024 I have a charge for $99.45 and when I reached out to them they say it's because I became a member for 10 days when I ordered something that was on discount but I haven't ordered anything else from them so they have put a unauthorized charged my card. Now they won't respond to my email now so I need some assistance for this matter. Thank you hope to hear from you soon about this situation. Constance J****

I ordered a perfume. After receiving an email saying I signed up for a membership I canceled the membership. I have not received the perfume and now have been charged for the membership. The email address I've contacted will not give me a number in order to contact someone for help. And the number listed on their website is never answered and is a message saying to call back during work hours. I've made sure to call during working hours and still the same thing.

The company said they would issue a refund, but never did. They still insist they already refunded our money, however it is clearly not in our bank account.
