On Thursday, April 28th at approximately 9:45 am I went to ************************************************************** located at ******************************************************************* to have a bolt removed from my tire and to get the hole in the tire repaired. I stood from a distance and watched the employee separate the tire from the rim. I approached the rim to see if the bolt caused any damage to the rim from being lodged through the tire. While inspecting the rim, I noticed damage was caused to the rim by the employee during the process of him separating the tire from the rim. I immediately approached the "manager" (who I later learned is the owner's son) about the damage and I asked him, "what do we do to resolve the issue, as there is now damage to the rim?" The manager instructed me that I would need to talk to the owner, ***************************. He informed me that ****** would not be in until 12pm and asked me for my phone number and that he will have her give me a call. I gave him my phone number and left the shop. ****** never called me. I ended up calling her and she asked me "how do you know we damaged it" I responded that I was standing there at the time it happened and I have a video. ****** laughed at me and said "Oh you have a video, good!" and hung up on me. I decided to go back to the tire shop to speak with her in person. When I arrived she was not there, but she walked in within minutes of me arriving and went straight to the back. Then 3 police cars pulled up to the tire shop. They spoke to ****** and then the officers asked me to speak with them outside. While outside, one of the officer's asked me to leave the premises, because ****** did not want me there. I recently purchased the rims on my truck and they were all free from any damage, blemishes, scratches, etc. ****** refused to resolve this issue and now chooses to ignore me. I have no choice but to get my rim repaired and pursue to be reimbursed by ****** for the cost of the repair.
