On May 23rd I turned in my keys for **** ***** **** **** **** *********** ** ***** to the main office with a letter stating that for any charges occur regarding my move out I will not except the statement or pay any monies owed without proof of invoices from the vendors that worked on my apartment. I hired a cleaning service and paid them directly; I had a maintenance technician of my own do the wall work on a few spots, but we did not have the paint to match. I called yesterday and had to leave a message explaining that again, I need invoices to prove I owe what they say I owe. They left me a message back telling me that I would have to email their maintenance department. This leads to my next complaint. When I moved in I had a letter from my physician stating that I needed grab bars for the shower because I have double hip replacements. The lead Maintenance denied my request stating that they would have to charge me for the labor and parts which is an ADA violation. I sent a complaint to the state and am still waiting for this to be dealt with. In the mean time, I slipped and fell and got very bruised up and hurt because of not having the grab bars placed. This was the whole reason I ended up moving out before my lease had expired, because I needed to feel safe getting in and out of my shower and they were not willing to do anything about it.Initial Complaint

Mistakenly continued paying electric **** via auto-pay for 5 months after moving out of ********* Apartment Unit D302 (at ***************************** in **********) when the lease ended 8/2021 . Discovered problem and contact utility company to discontinue service. Utility said that property management company should be contacted to see if they would take responsibility for those charges.I have tried contacting PTLA to check on doing this, as I'd like to explore options for having paid for utilities on an empty apartment that I'm not contractually bound to. I vave left four voice mails with Accounting (***** and ******), their main office *************), and have sent e-mail admitting my mistake and asking if they would at least consider doing so.Zero call-backs, zero e-mail responses. It's been 2 weeks since first attempt at contact. Their behavior to ignore my request for contact is irresponsible at best, and a terrible business practice at worst, and I want to elevate this issue and hold them accountable.
