      I needed a new charging port board for my phone. I ordered one somewhere else and it was an aftermarket board that didn't work well. The phone antenna plugs into the board and I was dropping calls constantly. Finally found an original board at iFixit and ordered it. It came a couple of days later and in five minutes my phone was finally repaired and working properly. This was the only company that advertised an original board. I'm very happy with the product and service.

      When I need a battery for a laptop, and I care whether it lasts for a long time (there are times when I am willing to take a chance and shop at the big box online), my default go-to is iFixIt. I have purchased many laptop batteries from iFixIt as well as tools for opening laptops, etc. and the batteries ALWAYS outlast the cheap junk on the online big box. The iFixIt batteries always cost more, but many times, the laptop is worth a more expensive repair. They always fit perfectly and they always work as promised. The iFixIt tools that are available separately and as kits with replacement parts are top quality and I keep them in my many repair toolkits.

      Everything needed was in the package. The battery replacement was straightforward and went well. I saw a couple of different procedures for calibrating the battery, there was slight difference so I followed the simpler one described on the business card. I hope it's a good one. I felt like the last battery I replaced did not last as long as it should have (I'm not sure it was from Fixit) so I hope this one is better.
      Pay close attention to which screws go where when removing the old battery. There are three longer screws that secure the battery and it looked to me like one was fatter than the other two so I put that one in the middle though any of the three appeared to fit all three positions.

      I purchased a Nintendo Switch console battery replacement kit from iFixit. It arrived in perfect condition and although the entire process was very time consuming, using their replacement parts, tools, and online tutorial guided me through it flawlessly. Grateful for their service!
